My answer: tell Goku about Frieza, Bardock’s final confrontation with Frieza, and the fate of Planet Vegeta. I’d imagine knowing these would change how his confrontation with Raditz plays out, and I think that change might be interesting to see.

Excellent 'what if?'! I have an odd idea if you wanted it. What if Grandpa Gohan had taught Goku Aikido instead of Karate? It doesn't sound like it would change a lot but it could drastically alter the way he approaches not only training and combat, but also life at large.

That may have been called collab, but let's be honest about who did the best here! Especially after you took over, this was a (somewhat) unique what-if with a very interesting story! It's true you two didn't account for everything (like Grandpa Gohan), but this is one of the only what-ifs where having all the Saiyans felt right! Despite not writing episodes, you nailed key moments like the to-Z time skip, Super Saiyan 2, and the decision to stay. MasakoX's take may have been reasonable in its own way, but this version of the tale is already among my favorites of all DB.

It’s likely that Goku Black happened, but trunks would have caught up with the Z fighters made it so it didn’t spiral out of control

It’s kinda weird for me that trunks is raising his mentors dad thats from the past

One gripe I have with this What If is it doesn't take Trunk's aging into account. He would be as old as Vegeta upon returning to his timeline, and yet he wouldn't have had a wife or family.

QotW Answer: I'd try joining the Z-fighters so I could use the dragon balls to wish to be reincarnated as a majin, frost demon, or Bojack's race along with the memories I made with the Z-Fighters. But if I can't have a reincarnation, I'd just ask to have the potential of a saiyan while still being human along with the knowledge on how to achieve a "Human God Form" if it even exists. Look humans need a buff, okay?

I wonder if this Trunks is dating Mai in this timeline. Oh I do have an idea for a what if that could be very interesting: What If Beerus woke up during the original Dragon Ball. Like let's say he woke up too early and Whis suggest going to earth after making a quick trip to see what the food there taste like knowing Beerus likes food also informing him of a Saiyan there which remind Beerus of his dream. So the two travel there to where Goku was living and at first there's a small squabble but whis sorts it out as upon learning of the Dragon Balls from Bulma they quickly gather them all to find out about the Super Saiyan God upon learning so they wait for the balls to recharge to make beerus' second wish which is to bring every living Saiyan to where they are at. I leave this idea off here for everyone's imagination to take over ^^

Man this is a really good what if i really hope this can be continued to the buu saga and eventually the goku black saga

With a couple little tweaks this could be a serious air tight contender for a whole new direction that db could take. Only I think db should play out differently a little bit just enough to lead to the Black arc and then leads to Vegeta and Goku black and this black duo the Vegeta one gets his immortality and the Goku one remains the same wish. But once they defeat the black duo the tweak I was speaking of leads to Goku wishing for Baby versions of all the Z fighters to take back to future with him. Leaving Trunks and Mai once their future is restored to divide up the babies between the ones they believe would be best to raise them. But in return the new middle timeline they just created leaving Trunks thinking since they’ll never fix the future to travel back in time of this new timeline to go under the name Toran ku. With this change he slowly becomes the monkey hermit the master in the jungle. Which if he plays his cards right he can avoid Goku and Bulma all together and this way if Vegeta and the others come to earth early he can take them to his mountain in the jungle and train them in secret until it’s time they know about him. And in this way Trunks can strip away Vegetas obsession with Goku and personalize his training to their individual personality. This way Vegeta then sees that not all training fits just one person and there’s no such a thing as a low class warrior. So it’ll be more of a side story behind the scenes of the original story line but also once Goku goes on his training mission like master Roshi said to then Trunks can pull Goku into his temple and train him and educate him to be smarter. And in which time give him a Gi similar to the one Wis gave him but with that really cool red cloak and black belt. And a more Upgraded pole after he loses his first one getting up to Kami.

This story is so wholesome overall

Honestly I don't think chichi would just go for goku his strength and the well crotch pat is what got her in this timeline idk if the crotch pat happens but he looks a lot weaker compared to trunks. She would likely get a crush on him.
