Yeah it’s already taken, I wanted to keep the water/flying on Winona since she had a pelipper, which is why I didn’t go unfezant on Winona and put swanna on juan

The teams would have a lot better balance too. Also would give Roxanne the water rock fossil line to balance out the team a bit more

@@OKreations no just remove one of the rocks as it would give more options for the first gym. Show off the fossils too. Unless we do the whole black and white fossil sides

this is what teams give it the hoenn e4 and champion if they used unovan pokemon(i did have to use some non unovan pokemon from thr B2w2 pokedex) sidiney would use Zoroark,Scrafty,Mandibuzz,Liepard and ace Krookodile phobie would use Chandelure,Cofagrigus,Jellicent male.Jellicent female,and ace Golurk glacia would use Cryogonal,Beartic,Glaceon,Mamoswine and ace Vanilluxe drake would use Zweilous,Druddigon,Flygon,Haxorus and ace Hydreigon stven would use Ferrothorn,Bisharp,Archeops,Carracosta,Klinklang and ace Excadrill

Here's some of my opinions: 1. Roxanne is fine; I can see her make a Defeatist Archeops work, in the future 😂 2. I'd choose Timburr over Scraggy, as Brawly's ace; I can see why, but the comparison with Hariyama would be too noticeable 3. I'd swap Blitzle for Emolga; Wattson has both Plusle & Minun at home, so it wouldn't be too much of a stretch 4. Flannery's Heatmor MUST have Fire Lash; no particular reason... 😏❤ 5. Norman is fine; Herdier & Stoutland should have Facade and/or Retaliate, to garantee some difficulty 6. Why no Unfezant(maybe female)? That poor bird barely has an appearance... also, Swanna ironically fits better as Winona's ace than Skyla 😂 7. Tate & Liza are fine too; the swap of Beheeyem over Claydol works nicely! 8. Juan is also fine; with the remaining options, I can see why you picked Samurott 😅 Overall, you did a nice job; can't wait for your next video. See ya!~ ❤💖

Thanks so much for the feedback I really appreciate it! I chose timburr to replace machop because it’s meant to be the same pokemon, three stage with a trade evo, and I chose blitzle and zeb for the electrike and manectric respectively, had to be a two stage in the same line, like the retaliate idea! No unfezant because that’s a bad pokemon😂 and I’m glad you agree with my samurott pick, I was considering throwing Simipour on there but like idk

@@OKreations Yeah, I can see why you made certain picks, but I usually prefer "variety" > "repeats" in Gym Leader teams, especially since base stages can be easily used by the nearby trainers. As for Timburr, it's just due to my personal idea of giving a fitting ace (hence why I also commented about Winona & Swanna); also... #hugforUnfezant 😅 About Simipour, unfortunately the "elemental monkeys" are not that great even in playthroughs (I didn't suggest Simisear for the same reason) so I don't blame you for Samurott (I usually give starters to Gym Leaders/Elite Four/Champions only in the rematches, to better highlight the "exclusive" of the player's starter); however, I can see them in both Flannery's and Juan's rematch teams, just for filling the slots! 😂

Yeah I think we all prefer variety, it’s just the point with these shorts is to be as faithful as possible to the original teams when swapping out generations, it’s not meant to fix or upgrade them in any way haha
