Pokemon Journeys is the newest generation of the Pokemon Anime. However, despite the many highs, there are also several criticisms of it. Today I bring you the tenth part in my rewrite of this new series, where I will attempt to fix some of these issues, as well as add in some things I would've liked to have seen in the series so far. Woah that was amazing None of us expected TR to recapture mewtwo and now Giovanni has him I'm concerned for the world and ash He needs greninja now more than ever and please let him come back to him and not still be a Gardiner it's been like 3 years and he should've been done by when ash and him reunited with the help of 2 legendaries😅😅🤦♂️🤦♂️

Amazing storytelling electro! Love the evolutions and battles, specially if you are truly making what could be the team rocket arc that never got in Unova

I like the Operation Tempest arc we got in Unova. It was a good enough replacement for the Team Rocket vs. Team Plasma arc. However, the Sun and Moon series kinda lost out on a potential Rocket arc

Overall, this was quite the emotional ride! As far as what I enjoyed from this episode, I really enjoyed the utilization of Cameron and Virgil. While not my personal favorite Unova rivals, I liked their presence in this tournament. The fight with Iris was great as well as it did a more in-depth version of what the show was doing and I appreciate the battle being a tie so Iris didn't immediately lose her very first fight on screen as champion. I also liked the lessons Mewtwo tried to impart onto Ash and Goh about their goals with Ash needing to find ways to utilize his bonds with his Pokémon without then needing to get smacked around while Goh needs to get stronger to combat other Pokémon he wants to catch. Also possible tease for Alain perhaps? Interesting As far as what I'm less jazzed about. While I enjoy Ash beating Grimsley, not too sure how I feel about Darumaka blasting through one of his Pokémon since he is an elite 4 member and Ash hasn't had Darumaka too long. Same goes with Lucario lasting as long as it did with Mewtwo. I'm mixed because the moment is good narratively but, the power scaling in mind is a bit shocked that Lucario as a Riolu could hold any attacks back given it wasn't even evolved. Overall didn't enjoy it as much as last week but, was still a thrilling ride and I can't wait to see what happens next

Yeah you aren't the only one to complain about the power scaling, specifically with Darumaka. Personally I thought given who Darumaka has faced that moment worked, as well as when you add on the fury which became Flare Blitz. As for Riolu it holding back Shadow Ball, and even it holding back Aura Sphere against Cameron's Lucario was supposed to signify that Ash and Riolu's bond is very strong. Not strong enough for Lucario to beat Mewtwo of course, but strong enough to stay in the fight for a little longer, and also for Riolu to evolve. However, I do understand what you mean by it not working

@@ElectroPikachu I definitely think Riolu's moment worked better given the narrative purpose and prior set up with Cameron. I think Darumaka's moment would of worked better if Scyther had been illustrated to deal more damage to Bisharp. So the extra boost in anger was just enough to knock out Bisharp despite the experience gap.

As a Unova fan myself, I felt doing something to continue on that portion of his adventure in some way (other than Iris returning which I love) was a good decision

I honestly never had a problem with Cameron, his issues were more symptoms of the BW anime than him being a bad character.

What I think is goin to happen in the next episode there will be a part focusing on ash's scyther and the evolution into cleavor wich rinto wil appear for the final rematch between him and ash or the evolution is going to happen during the darkest day arc anyway scyther can feel a bit left behind by the other team members and eeling that he is the weakest link they go to the Wikstrom's for training wich will be where he could evolve at the end or during the battle between rinto or the Wikstrom battle. Anyway this will be most likely one of the last episodes before the darkest day arc I can anly see 1 to 2 more episodes before it happens the second could focus on ash vs bea and goh with project mew but that is all i could really see now before it happens.

@@side-klipps Ahhhhh. Right. Sadly had to cut him and the duck knight from the team as I wanted to make his team more diverse, and in the end despite loving both Pokemon I decided the "internet breaking" Dragonite and Lucario were better options

@@side-klipps Already seen the most recent episode. Glad the Galar mons were given spotlight, don't get me wrong. However, unfortunately I can't really work them in at this point. Hope you enjoy the other Gen 8 members though

I liked both of those characters. Though Ash already defeated both, so I figured he should battle the character he didn't beat, and the one he didn't even fight

@ElectroPikachu not gonna lie you are the first person I've seen EVER say they liked Trip and Stephan 😂 Though I'm surprised you didn't bring back Virgil here (unless he also shows up I'm still at 2 minutes here) seeing how despite the fact that he's classed as an Ash rival for some stupid reason Ash NEVER battled Virgil
