I think chespin should get some focused in the gym since it doesn't have any story and it's kinda being forgotten among the other Pokemon of Ash's

Too bad serena got goomie! I can see how Mawile will prefer pokemon performances much more with Serena and goomie pokemon battles with Ash. So is there a trade in the future? Like aipom and buizel? Haha

Huh? Nothing has even remotely implied that Mawile wants to do performances. And if Goomy is as timid as it was in canon, it likely wouldn't be interested in battling. Besides, Mawile is Ash's Mega Pokémon. I can't see him trading her away to someone who really doesn't need a mega.

@@baileyboo6651 this is a what if man, everything comes from the author as he pleases. We as fans can just ask haha. But since you are very serious with this: 1. when Goomie evolves he enjoys battling and likes to please Ash, thats why he is very happy to participate in the Kalos League. 2. Ash has already Charizard and Greninja: one pokemon that can mega evolve 2 different ways and a pokemon with a special bond phenomenon. 3. Why wouldn’t Serena need a mega? Mega evolution is perfect for contests and performances. Wallaces’ niece, Lisia uses a mega Altaria and she is TOP Coordinator in Hoen. 4. I think pseudo legendary is more well suited for a trainer with experience like Ash, than for a newbie that just started and that can barely battle.

Honestly I do want to say somthing with clemot I hope you make him way stronger and that he gets mega ampharos so he is more of a challenge luxray is cool but just him dosent feel challenging enough and I never liked that only two gym leaders had megas

This was a nice part for Charizard and Frogadier. As such, I'd rather they sit out of the next gym battle and have it focus on one of the other team members. Chespin could use some more action, and Mawile would be great type wise. I really liked that Goomy was caught by Serena this time around. I'm excited to see its story unfold with her!

Charizard and Ash agonizing over their lack of strength was pretty interesting. It makes sense that after so long of being "old reliable " that suddenly being matched at every turn would be a wound to their pride. It's probably weird for Ash too since he is obviously proud of how strong his new Pokémon are getting, but feels pain over how he and Charizard seem to be slipping. A good character focused episode
