Жыл бұрынPokemon Journeys is the newest generation of the Pokemon Anime. However, despite the many highs, there are also several criticisms of it. Today I bring you the twenty-fourth part in my rewrite of this new series, where I will attempt to fix some of these issues, as well as add in some things I would've liked to have seen in the series so far. Pokémon Journeys: The Series is the eighth part of the anime series. It features all of the regions from the main-series games, including the Generation VIII games Pokémon Sword and Shield. This series shares its Japanese name with the original series when the anime first premiered in 1997, and is officially labeled with "2019", the year this series started in, for disambiguation. This new series focuses on the two protagonists Ash Ketchum and Goh, along with their partners Pikachu and Cinderace. It also features a young girl named Koharu (Chloe), who has a Yamper, and her father, Professor Sakuragi (Cerise), who runs a laboratory in Vermilion City. It features all the regions that have appeared in the Pokémon games, from Kanto to Galar. Pokémon from each region will also appear while Ash is pursing Leon in the Pokemon World Coronation Series (PWC) and Goh is chasing his dream in Project Mew.

I've been noticing a lot of comments about this, so for those who might end up being confused, the Masters 8 is in a Round Robin style. Every member of the Masters 8 will be fighting each other at some point, rather than in a typical bracket like in canon.

Hey Electro I just gotta say I LOVE your rewrite. It feels SO much more like a proper sendoff to Ash and Pikachu than the canon. I love everything you have done. Keeping Ash Greninja, giving Ash Grookey, Having Larvatar return as Tyranitar, and join Ash, Having Ash use his old Pokemon in what might be the BIGGEST tournament of his career, Actually giving Chole a purpose and dream, and letting her catch more Pokemon than just Eevee, Having all of Ash's friends and family come to the Masters 8, and the ultimate twist of Boss Rocket himself being in the Masters 8 was something I did not see coming. I cannot wait for part 25 keep up the awesome work.👍👍

I love this series. Every part has been really good and this one did not disappoint either. It was intense and really captivating. I cannot wait for part 25.

This episode was...intense. I like how Bede actually tied with Ash since I was genuinely expecting him to lose the fight. Shows just how powerful Bede has become in his training with Opal. Ash's losses were devastating but expected. I am super happy you had Torterra and Lucario put in so much work against Mewtwo. Infernape nearly pushing Calyrex to the limited was also great. Hopefully, Ash can bring things back with these Pokémon in the future battles. Poor Thwacky, traumatized by boss Rocket. The rest of the battles were pretty solid overall. Alain beating both Steven and Lance really demonstrates his strength, and Iris managing to tie with Steven is good for her. Having Cynthia tie with Leon is also expected. More integration of the Sword and Shield story is always nice to see, and with Pione having a much bigger role in this rewrite, his interactions with Rose are gonna be juicy.

I felt like showing Leon and Rose's conversation over the Darkest Day was needed, but was worried that it could come off in a similar manner to the politics in the Star Wars Prequels. Glad you enjoyed it

@@ElectroPikachu I think I missed a part. Ash faces Giovanni after Lance. Why wasn't Ash taken out of the tournament when he lost to Leon at the start?

@@anothergamer112 Because it's not your usual tournament. As stated in the previous episode, for this Masters 8 Tournament, they would be utilizing a Round Robin format, where for the preliminaries, rather than a typical bracket, matchups would be rotated each round, until every participant has fought each other. No one is eliminated until afterwards, when wins are rallied up and the top 4 move to the semifinals

This episode was great a 10/10 in fact but I wish mewtwo’s armor was broken ash didn’t need to win you having ash loose was fantastic but I think ash should’ve used someone like incinerator or pikachu to break mewtwo’s armor to show that ash is a threat instead of just a crack of the armor it would tell Giovanni that ash is a threat and if they battle again that would lead into Giovanni using mewtwo right off the bat to try and sweep ash but overall this was a 10/10

@@ElectroPikachu well no I think the sweep was done well and of course Giovanni thought of ash as a threat because of the events in unova but I think you should’ve shown how powerful ash was and make him do something that lance couldn’t do to make it believable that ash can win

Everyone fights everyone. Each round is a new rotation of matches. Due to there being 8 trainers, this means a total 7 matches, before the semifinals. Based on the number of wins, the semifinals will be decided, selecting the four with the most wins, while the four who don't have as many, will be disqualified.

You do a great job with this idea of a first turn with all of the masterd 8 will be confront because ash can be beat by giovanie and leon but not be eliminate so he can become beter after all match and start the compétition like an outsiders and finish champion

Ash should’ve used all of his dark types at this disposal against Giovanni. With Incineroar’s Malicious Moonslaught, Krookadile’s crunch and Ash Greninja’s Night Slash they could’ve broke the armour. Even let Scraggy evolve into scratch and use something like Foul Play. Add in Gengar’s ghost moves. I personally didn’t liked Ash’s lineup. Knowing he was gonna face mewtwo he should’ve used all his might. Edit: Heck I forgot Ash even owns a Tyranitar in this what if

Incineroar doesn't have Malicious Moonsault. Krookodile doesn't know Crunch anymore, because in Unova Ash taught Aerial Ace over that. Scraggy evolving doesn't feel right during this battle. Also there's still the rest of Giovanni's team to deal with, and Mewtwo has Drain Punch

@@ElectroPikachu but with all the upgraded movepools ash’s Pokémon got it isn’t too far fetched to say Krookadile relearned Crunch. Leon’s Charizard in the anime has relearned moves. And seeing the threat Mewtwo was maybe Kukui can offer the special z crystal of Incineroar to Ash for this battle. We know that can happen in official battle. Misty offers Ash her Pokémons in Indigo League and Alain uses Keystone and Mega stones he didn’t even owned in the Kalos League. I think with all these they could’ve destroyed half of Mewtwo’s armour dazzling the audience and even establishing to Giovanni that Ash is a serious threat.

@@GameZone-ib7eu In Indigo League Ash wasn't that capable of a trainer, and he and Misty weren't close. At this point, not only is Ash more capable, but Kukui trusts Ash to be able to solve problems on his own. Giving him the Incinium Z without Ash earning it would go against that. Even if Kukui offered, Ash would refuse because he didn't earn it

@@ElectroPikachu ok let’s forget about Malicious Moonsault. But still Ash should’ve fought better. Like if I was Ash and facing Mewtwo I would’ve start with Gengar. Instead of direct head to head battle I would’ve had Gengar use it’s ghostly abilities to go in that shadow realm type where Mewtwo can’t hurt it. Then use will-o-wisp and immediately return Gengar and bring out Greninja. After transforming into Ash Greninja again instead of head to head battle using Greninja’s unparalleled speed and double team evade all Mewtwo’s attack and slowly drain his stamina. By this it would’ve seem that Ash actually used a great strategy. In your what if he was simply attacking.

@@GameZone-ib7eu 1. Gengar just fought Leon's Calyrex, and needed time to rest. 2. Gengar can't attack while phasing. 3. Ash's team was made to handle the full team Giovanni had, so many were prepared for the possibility of facing all his Ground types. If he had chosen Pokemon specifically for Mewtwo alone, he still wouldn't have won, because even if he took down Mewtwo, he wouldn't have been well enough prepared for facing the rest of Giovanni's Pokemon. 4. Greninja's speed wouldn't allow it to beat Mewtwo, I'm just gonna say that outright 5. News Flash: MEWTWO CAN MEGA EVOLVE

I still want Silver in Pokemon Journeys Rewrite where Jackson meets Ash again and introduce him to Jimmy and Marina. While Jackson introduce Ash to Jimmy and Marina, Jimmy introduce Ash to Silver. Next, after Ash meets Jimmy, Marina, Silver and Jackson, Jimmy tells Ash who Silver is and he is the son of Team Rocket leader, Giovanni, and Silver offers to help Ash bring down the entire Team Rocket organization because, like his game counterpart, Silver despise Team Rocket. But Silver has a different reason to hate Team Rocket in the Pokemon Journeys Rewrite.

Ash has already met Jimmy, Marina and Jackson/Vincent in this rewrite. There's also no reason to believe that they would be on good terms with Silver, or that Silver would want anything to do with Team Rocket, apart from the fact he doesn't like his Dad

Hooo boy, this is really getting intense. Seeing Ash lose twice in the Masters 8 and Thwaky losing his composure from the sight of Giovanni and Mewtwo calling out for help, Team Rocket is really starting to make themselves known. I’m definitely looking forward to seeing what happens next when the second round of the Masters 8 starts and everything comes to fruition.

What do you mean by continue? If you're asking if he's still participating in the tournament, then yes. Like I stated before, this is a Round Robin Tournament, where everyone will fight everyone

@@aldenraemamaril5191 It didn't. The two cancelled each other out, and caused a massive amount of Dynamax Particles after. Eternatus showed up after that part of the battle was over, it didn't interrupt
