Instead of moving over to the #01 team where his career-ending crash happened, what if Jerry Nadeau stayed over at Hendrick Motorsports? Would he be more successful?
THIS IS JUST MY IDEA AND NOT BASED OFF OF ANYTHING.

@@brentanic I began following NASCAR again in 1992, but I never had a favorite driver. After several years of this I decided to pick a new young driver and follow his career. So I picked Adam, got the 45 Spree hat, and he gets killed. The past champions Provisional had already started to sour my taste in NASCAR and the Car Of Tomorrow didn't help. Ol' DW started boring me in the booth by 2008 and I stopped watching the races. In truth, Adam's death was tough to get used to.

snead bomb If that were to happen I can conclude 2 benefits: Higher TV rating and better driver development, but there would only be downfall: Not enough drivers to fill spots. To counter that, They would have to allow Truck drivers go up to Xfinity part-time and K&N and ARCA guys going to the truck series part time.

The first problem with this theory is that Jerry Nadeau never won at California. Rusty Wallace won that year. After that, I don't think Nadeau would've been too successful at HMS. It's not that I doubt his talent; it's that the #25 car was already in a heap of struggle, and HMS became a 4-car team in 2002. And you know that ever since, at least one of those 4 teams has struggled each season. More recently, it's been the #5.

That was a strange concept. Bill Davis Racing didn't use any components from Hendrick Motorsports, so I would've considered Waltrip, Napa, and the people at Bill Davis Racing chose another number. But Menard only ran a few races in 2006, so it doesn't matter too much.

Busch was out of Hendrick regardless. His attitude and rash behavior got him into trouble. That's why 2007 was his last year in the 5. He was going to run 7 races in the #30 AOL Chevy and run for rookie of the year in 2002. This means that Jeff Green and Steve Park would not split the 2003 season nor Johnny Sauter who race the car in 2004.
