You gotta remember that wasn't like the "real" joker. If anything that's where Arkham Knight got the idea to have ppl turn into Joker. I forgot which Robin it was but whichever one that got chipped was no different than the joker clones in Knight. My head canon, those that know Joker or came in different contact him without the extra DNA stuff still gets changed someway because Joker attacks your psyche. So for his blood being an agent to cause a chemical imbalance but him attacking your psyche is planting seeds in a way, his way thinking stays with a person and once under the influence of some type control from him. That's why Batman (AK) and Tim (Beyond Movie) are almost identical to him when corrupted because they spent the most time with him. @@TariqTheGuy

​@@TariqTheGuy My point in saying all of that, Whichever Robin that was in that movie broke down for one of two reasons 1. As a computer chip to carry the soul of a super villain, it simply ran into a error it could not understand because no one ever told Joker a joke. 2. In the flashback when Robin killed Joker, he laughed. I think that also triggered him because the last time he died someone laughed him. Not taking him serious with him saying thats not the funny. With the trauma of the host and the mental insanity of the Joker chip, him going ape shit makes absolutely the most sense to a imperfect Joker

Pardon the long reply, hope you don't mind. Spidey isn't as philosophical about killing as Batman, but Joker would probably lean into that. Joker can and has switched his manipulation tactics up for different targets, like Harley and Jim Gordon (granted, he didn't succeed with Gordon). Joker would know Spidey isn't the same as Batman and may not care as much about breaking him, but he'd probably still give it the college try and probably get closer than Norman has. If Joker got his hands on one of Spider-Man's loved ones, I could see him broadcasting a threat to Spidey that he wants 12 villains dead by the end of the day or Aunt May or Harry or whoever loses a foot and escalates until they're just a torso that he tortures rather than kills. Spidey is smart, be he's also more emotional than Batman and is more prone to breaking his own rules than Batman; not that he'd start killing as a first result, but Spidey has a hard enough time finding less deranged villains and Joker is very good at hiding when he wants to and I'm gonna guess that if the Justice League can't find him most of the time, neither can Marvel's heroes. Whether or not Joker is as ceremonial about not looking into Spidey's identity as Batman's is a point to consider but, if he just sees Spider-Man as an annoying kid with too much pep in his step the way he saw Gordon as a clueless goody-good (rather than how Batman genuinely confounds him), he may not hesitate to learn who Spider-Man is...Granted, I don't see him getting enough interest in Spidey without losing a few rounds first, but Joker is also the type to use strategic losses to manipulate enemies he know won't kill him. This time measuring Spidey would likely expose Joker to Daredevil and Daredevil is definitely much more similar to Batman than Spidey is, but I think Joker may not find him interesting; Batman is someone who sees the world as Joker does but never kills for some reason while Daredevil is as simple as, "Is Catholic, won't kill," which might not intrigue Joker as much for being so explicable (granted, Matt's faith would definitely generate a lot of insults from Joker and I'm sure he'd fight him at least once). The Kingpin bit sounds good on the surface, but I don't know if Kingpin has as much competition in NYC as Joker has in Gotham. Gotham's criminal leaders are all on equal footing, whereas anyone in NYC who isn't Kingpin is often seen as second-place and Joker was previously part of the generation that routed the Falconés, Maronis and other crime lords more similar to Kingpin than Joker's contemporaries he currently struggles with. I'm also tempted to say that the heroes Kingpin contends with aren't that much more diverse or numerous than the Bat Family, since the X-Men, Avengers and Fantastic Four are normally off somewhere else despite living near or in the city, leaving Fisk with mostly Spider-Man, Daredevil and, more recently, Spider-Man's elseworld counterparts. Definitely not accurate to say Joker would clean-sweep NYC, but I could see him carving out a big chunk for himself, bigger than the likes of Tombstone or Silvermane (for those times where Silvermane isn't dead, anyway). Spidey is definitely the Anti-Joker, though. If Joker were to learn this (which would probably only be possible by learning he's Peter Parker), that might give him all the motivation he needs to get as hung up on Spidey as he currently is on Batman. Spidey may be more upbeat than Batman, but anything happening to Aunt May will likely drive him to kill and maybe even make him blunter in the foreseeable future, he also already considers killing on a regular basis (even if more emphasized in recent stories than older ones) and he has a history of getting fed up with society and either teetering on the edge or just deciding to quit being Spider-Man...Joker may not even get Spidey to kill regularly but just give up being a hero altogether, which is as sacred to him as not killing is to Batman (even if retirement isn't Joker's intended endgame). I joke, but also, "Working with Gasses that DON'T Get Yourself Killed" > Mysterio.

@@seantaylor424 There are a lot of things I disagree about these arguments. First one bing that Joker can even do these things to begin with. Joker when he goes to other cities or faces other heroes usually gets negged pretty fast. There is even a story where he tries to start beef with Flash but it doesn't go well and Joker just gives up. It isn't until more recent stories where joker has been given the prep time treatment where he is ability to do things such as outsmart Lex Luther and take down the team. The reason I bring this up is that if you are gonna do these assumptions to Joker then what you do to one side you have to do with the other as Spider-Man characters and villains also have similar feats such as Norman Osborn when he was Iron Patriot and lead the Thunderbolts. Also Spider-Man himself would not have much trouble finding people as his spider sense pretty much tells him what is happening around him, it doesn't just alert him of danger. Even if you want to downplay that ability, you would also have to do the same for Batman and Joker. I just do not see Joker being able to do much to him without plot armor. Joker may be more deranged than some spider-man villains sure but he also isn't as powerful or even as smart as some either, so he wouldn't have the chance to capitalize on that if he can't do much. Also downplaying Kingpin saying he doesn't have much competition is absurd as pretty much every major villain that wants power is competition to him. He even has the aids of sorcerers and even Doctor Doom struggles agains't him. Even characters like hammerhead had armies of goons with advanced laser weaponry and he wasn't considered much of a threat to him and this was back in the 70s. If Kingpin can't get to him outside of stories where Peter himself gives up his ID then I don't see joker doing it. Outside of Injustice, and more modern stories, joker doesn't have that many great feats that involve characters outside of Batman that don't have some easily exploitable weaknesses. Daredevil would definitely kill joker too, I mean Batman has almost done it too but Joker only scrapped by cause of plot armor which will not be granted here. Joker is going to have more fierce competition. Joker is smart but if you wanna say that he could outsmart most mob bosses in Marvel then you're just downplaying marvel street tiers in general.

Peter has a no kill rule but everything goes out the window when personal relationships get involved. The thing is I ain't sure that Peter won't kill him and that's scary.

@@Automaton2337 I'm not so sure about that. Spidey has been up against terrorists with long kill sheets and still didn't want Frank to kill them, not even when they were after a Hulk Formula. The incident I'm thinking of happened during Brand New Day, but I don't remember the exact issue off the top of my head.

Spidey would probably drive Joker even more insane. lol I mean, he couldn't even take Terry McGinnis constantly talking back at him. But to be fair, that Joker was just a memory remnant of Joker in Tim Drake's body but it does gives us an idea of how he'd handle more talkative heroes who would taunt him back.

I think that misunderstands Peter a bit. 90% of the time, Peter is against no killing. He literally holds the entire superhero community accountable when they go over that line. Hell, when Peter accidentally killer someone it stuck with him for years, referring to that time in Berlin. When Daredevil killed someone in Devils Reign, he told Matt he was done and if he catches him out again doing this shit. He's bringing him in. Peter being occasionally down for it is only a thing that's come around recently of modern day comics. He won't even kill the Goblin even though he wants Hell, he blows up on Jonah when he asks why he didn't kill Sandman when the dude was dying

No he would get killed by some other superhero and even if he makes Spider-Man break somehow but in the end Spider-Man would still be the same person and we'll just have some regrets but it's not like he'll become a mass murderer well unless you introduce that stupid Joker poison idea that mind controls people after he dies if they breathe in the smoke and even then Spider-Man's mask could prevent that and there's hundreds of other Heroes which would kill Spider-Man.

And he won't even become a psychopath he'll just have some regrets although he'll survive and get over it unlike Batman if he kills someone he would have self-control not to kill more people unless he really needs to.
