This wouldnt have worked because if miami took kobe la would have wanted wade not the front court players they got. Caron butler gets hurt like always and miami stinks for a while because chucker supreme cant carry and kobe is probably ok with svgs coaching style since hes also an ahole. La is good but probably doesnt win right away with lack of role players and coaching. La gets gasol for what seems like free at the time thanks to jerry west recognizing marc gasol is a hidden gem and his relationship with la and miami does its best to surround kobe with talent but never manages to pull off the same homerun moves he gets in la. Wade becomes the face of the league in la and he shaq, gasol and artest win the title. . Realistically, I don't think Kobe wins on the Heat because Dwayne Wade wouldn't be there. They play the same position with nearly an identical play style. Wade is a better mid-range jump shooter, but he wouldn't sit on the bench for Kobe, and you couldn't have him play the 1 because Wade isn't an instinctive passer, nor and he'd have to get his own shot nearly all the time. I think Wade would have been traded TO LA to get Kobe. Same outcome would have happened with Shaq & Wade, just in LA, and LeBron would have more than likely come to LA sooner since Wade would have already been there.
