I think the butterfly effect is more if a butterfly flaps its wings in Brazil it can trigger a chain of events that creates a storm on the other side of the world. No stepping on poor butterflies. 😂

honestly the best scenario in this video has got to be how just a couple of AFL trades would effect your relationship status XD that's why they say never grow up from footy lol

I think you mischaracterised the butterfly effect a bit. The concept was close to right but it refers to chaos theory and the example containing a butterfly is that the tiny motion of wind made by a butterfly in one place could potentially cause a hurricane thousands of Ks away. With Chaos theory it would be impossible to know the flow on effect.

Can't agree that Freo made the right decision - the rumours around Hogan already existed and it was pretty dumb to overpay for him. Lobb was overrated from the start. Trading Neale was unfortuante, but he wanted to go - the bigger issue was trading picks away in a very strong draft to simply get two overrated players that were ultimately massive failures.

Great series, today was just thinking about what if Franklin never left the hawks, and what the repercussions would have been. The hawks were already the dominant force in the afl by 2013 and it’s scary to think what might have been if they’d kept the best forward in the league. Maybe a 4-peat wouldn’t have been off the cards. Conversely, I can see the paycut that other players would have had to take meaning the hawks lose the likes of J Lewis, Gunston, Langford, etc. and also don’t get their hands on McEvoy. It could mean the hawks keep buddy but eventually lose in 2014 and 15, and the dynasty never would have happened. Ironic to think that if the Swans hadn’t gone for buddy they may have been the dynasty of the early 2010s instead of the hawks

You should do waht happend if hawthorn never traded for wingard. I think we would be in the two first and Ryan burton for a average player that wanted our salary cap
