It’s true, us as Guys need to remember that our ex isn’t perfect there were things that they do/ or not do that piss us. We can find someone better trust me you just have to keep looking.

Think about this: if they get with someone else soon after a breakup, I know it may hurt, but really think about it logically. Why would you want someone back who can just flip from you to someone else like you’re nothing? Regardless of the brain chemistry going on or whatever, there is a total lack of respect from them. So respect yourself. If they come crawling back in the future, respect yourself, and don’t let them back into your life. You will find someone who wouldn’t split your heart into two like that. That ex doesn’t deserve you.

It’s usually not about you it’s about them….they have issues and probably are using the new person to cope with your loss . They aren’t as evil as you think with self work on both sides it’s sometimes good to consider getting back together. But you gotta get outta the butthurt……no pun intended.

My ex literally told me on the phone 6 hrs before she broke up with me in person that she wasn't gona break up w me. One week before the break up we were talking about engagement rings, wedding venues, and children. Some people have the capacity to treat other humans like socks or disposable cups. Sorry that happened to you but always remember that karma will come to them weather u want it to or not

7yrs later, breaks up with me out of the blue, says he doesn't know what's he's looking for. Liar. Had already found someone from his past and in 2 weeks posted 'in a relationship' . Now has blocked me from FB. He was my best friend and I miss him. Don't want him back as in a romantic way bit miss my friend so much.

Great advice . If someone finds someone else during no contact they are a rebound because some people I have known have to have someone in their lives no matter who they are. After personal growth I realised when that person came back I no longer wanted him as I had changed the person I was and no longer liked them. The reason you go no contact is usually for a good reason.

@@Manu-od8du How can you love someone else so fast again if you didnt put in the work and listen to your own body and just flee into a new relationship to feel something again which was missing. Thats not healthy and not a sign of self love. If you only were together for some months okay then maybe, but never after at least one year. Its like you should give urself at least 3 months.

This happened to me. I went no contact.. I thought everthing was perfect with her new boyfriend. It looked like it on social media. 3 Months later she broke up with her new boyfriend and called me. She said she missed me and wanted to have sex with me. She said she felt more relaxed around me. And that she'd never forget me. I still want her back. But thing was really difficult for us for special reasons. Our age difference etc. I'm 27, she just turned 19. We were together for 2 years. Because of our age difference our relationship has always been a secret. She also said she loved her new boyfriend, but she loved me more and was really uncertain about the new guy. Though she wouldn't go "no contact" with him to get me back. I told her she need to find out what she feels for the new guy and it's for the best that we wait for the time to be more right for us. I don't know if I should move on with someone new, or wait. I then told her to go back to him so she can find out what she really feels. So she did. I just went "no contact again" and hope that she will come back in maybe 6 months. Though I am afraid she might be over me by then...

My ex got married during no contact... 6 months after he broke up with me and we'd been together for 5 years... but it wasn't no contact's fault. I believe in no contact, it really is the only way. If it won't do, pestering our exes never will. No contact is our best chance.

Thank you for your answer! That's what I think! The other girl has nothing to do with his life, she's from his home country, but they have completely different life stories! Now, she's from one of the "banned countries" and she can't go to the US and he can't go to her country for some reasons. They have to meet in another place, they are having a distance marriage! Can this thing work?? I'm not waiting for him to come back to me, but I just wanted to understand what happened!

Yeah! Six months after he broke up with me. They are both from the same country, but he left more than 5 years ago, they were acquaintances, he lived in two different countries after he left his hometown, we had this explosive/Romeo and Juliet, 5 year relationship, after he broke up with me, he reconnected with her online, they met, got married in 6 months and now she can't go to America (banned by Trump's immigration law) and he can't go to their country because of political reasons as well. They got married in a third country and are now running a long distance marriage. One may say, maybe they were talking during these years, I know they were not because she never liked any of his pictures or anything on fb, he had blocked her bc he didn't like her and she liked him. After we broke up, I started seeing her likes on his and his mom's pics. How messed up is that? I swear, I'm not trying to get back with him, I just wanted answers, I just think he made a wrong move. Ok, if it didn't work with me, fine, but what's it about this rush marriage with someone who lives in another continent?? I mean it, I'm just trying to understand! Thanks for writing!

My thoughts are he just like the feeling of being lonely and unloved so he decided to jump on a new girl who'd show him love and affection like u did. Marshall Smith hey man I know that pain. Life is getting knocked down but you get back up. For me getting back up was like a dragging myself with one arm and crawling then a stumble but I got up. It’s not easy but you WILL bounce back better than you remember

I was sceptical about all of this, and then I reached out to my ex, not to get him back but just to talk as a friend, end only then I realised what I have done, so yes, no contact does work, and yes, your ex will reach out :)

Honestly, ive not looked at her fb in over a year or ever asked mutual friends what she's doing..i still think of her every day which I feel sabotages any new potential dates. I'm healthier, look better, more emotional mature, with a better job, nicer home than when she met me..and she has no idea. But I just have to deal with my inability to stop thinking about her. It's been 2 years.

I got to the point where I stopped giving a damn. I made peace with my ex breaking up with me. It was a tough moment in my life. It's been 3 years since my ex broke up with me. 3 months no contact now and weird is now after all this time, i don't think he was the right one for me, now i see all his red flags, i couldn't see that before. i was too much into him and was blind. it was my hardest break up, i fell so deep, in a deep black hole and to be honest i'm still suffering and i try to figure out why.. putting all the puzzles together to finally move on. during a break up you learn so much about yourself, it's interesting. i wouldn't know what to do if he will contact me (which i don't believe will ever happen, he is too proud).. i would be confused, but hopefully i'm then strong enough to say ..goodbye..

My ex broke up with me one hour after he sended me a text that said "I love you" then I moved to Mexico for a few months because I was devastated and I needed to see my family. But he promised me that he wouldn't meet anybody else that he needed to work on his self and that he wasn't interested. Few days after that a friend showed me he was on tinder, I confronted him and he told me that he had tinder just to boost his ego not to meet someone else. Well that wasn't true because my friend told me he was asking her to meet her. He hasn't talked to me yet and I don't think we'll ever do that. It hurts... I did everything for him. 💔

I did no contact, and within two weeks of the break up, she’s in a relationship already after over a year of being together. She and her 10 year old son has had issues due to dad being a drug addict. She said I can’t be in a relationship right now. She told me that she was failing as a parent to him. I was in total support of them getting help. Oh, I was this such an amazing man. Talked about marriage and moving in together. I was the best man she had ever been with. The best lover, most understanding and loving man to her and her son. What a gut wrenching feeling! I’m so blown away!

Got my heart broken for the 1st time at 26 year old, after a 6 year relationship. Seen a lot of things since i was a kid but never felt as hurt as now. I took things as granted, and was shocked and confused when the reality hit me in the face like a cold slap, as i got dumped. Learned that loyalty is not the only thing that keeps a good relationship afloat, i was not emotionally present for myself so how could i be for one another. The fiction you build in your head while thinking your lost love, can be a lot harsh than reality itself. Only thing you can change now is yourself so why not focus on that.

They started kicking it. He was cheating on me close a week before, everybody was coming and telling me things about them I have cryed every seens then I'm crushed. That’s one of my worst fears and feelings. Last night was the first time my stomach was literally in knots and I couldn’t really breathe. Didn’t really have a panic attack, but I just broke down and cried. You can only wonder if your ex is going through the same way. I do think so, if you’ve been with the person for years, in my case, 5 years.

Oh my goodness! I love being able to listen to you now after the trauma and be able to laugh at things that made me sob months ago. Like the idea that “Two weeks ago he said he loved me and wanted to marry me and now he is so cruel.” When Margret mantienes that it made me laugh so hard and it felt so good. Because it’s so true. But for me now it’s silli and funny when months back it was like the end of the world. I needed up going to intensive treatment after the break up. I had the panic attacks and the anxiety etc. I also fell a sleep listening to the videos and felt understood. I am at peace now thank God. Thank you guys as well.❤️

Ok so here is a question. I’m starting to realize that by breaking up with me my ex-girlfriend gave me a very precious gift. I was lost and lonely when I was with her from inner anxiety and wasn’t in the growth mindset. Now that I’m growing and exploring I can see how we diverged and see that the break up was for the best for us both. One day maybe in a year or more I thought it would be nice to send her a bouquet with a note that simply says “Thank you” would that be appropriate if she initiated no contact with me?

I don’t have my ex on social media, but as I see him in school he’s texting all the time. So I have a guess he has someone, since he perhaps thought that the grass is greener on the other side. I’ve come to the conclusion that it hurts a bit but I don’t feel threatened at all, I also don’t feel unloveable or anything negative. It’s just interesting to see it happen.

We were together 8 years (engaged for the last 4 of those). I found out without meaning to that he found someone 9 months after he broke up with me. I know that's a lot longer than a rebound and it didn't happen "quickly", but 8 years together made me think finding someone under a year later was kind of fast. I'm so sick to my stomach thinking that someone else has taken my place, but I'm sure it's better that I found out already.

Whenever I see my Ex and the other one Online (God dang it Facebook, do you really have to shove it on my face?) I go and watch this along with the other Rebound vids. I don't want to unfriend nor block those two, I want to toughen my way out of this. When we still have feelings for someone but we can no longer be together, even small things they did on social media still effect us. The number of post in their profile is up but they make it private and we can’t see the picture we still feel sad about it. Been 6 months after the break up and I still feel connection from him even we haven’t talk ever since. I feel it would take me 2 years to move on completely from him. The break up was a mess

I came off all social media 5 years ago because my life is mine and I don't care what other people are doing. I split from my wife of 23 years 4 months ago and lockdown came in. I still refuse to use social media. I do miss her and not been available at home for my kid's.i am still in love with her but it is fading. So I don't have the problem of stalking her lol. Ban all social media we would all be better off without it

Hey I was on ur boat 3 weeks ago the day after I got broken up with I started a new job and wanted to cry in my bosses face I couldn’t pay any attention and couldn’t wait for lunch breaks to cry, what changed? I’m glad you asked, I thought crying is not going to help me move forward with life and even get her back, but by first of all staying calm and knowing as long as she’s in this new relationship she’s not growing but me spending time with myself I can grow and become better while she stays stagnant and rebound relationships do not work even though I see her get in his car I play is cool because I’m a better person by working on myself not jumping into another relationship :)

Love the videos! Can you do a video on long distance relationships? My 10 year relationship just ended because i needed to start a new life in another state looking for my purpose on this earth. And she had too much anxiety to live in a different state. So we broke up because i realized my needs were never gonna be met with 650 miles between us. I wasnt done with her, and shes not done with me. But it dosen't make sense to be together. Thanks coach!

You gotta work on yourself. Start working out if you don't already. Quit alcohol, cigarettes, weed whatever it is you do. Start eating healthy and start living your best life. If you start doing these things in another three months you will find someone better and will barely think about your ex. Trust me it takes work, but in the end you will be a better person.

Yeah. I was wishing loved ones Merry Christmas 🎅 🎄 & I scrolled past his messenger icon accidentally as I was finding people. He changed his first name & his profile picture. When I knew him he stubbornly refused to touch that picture & I was attached to it. For 5 minutes I was so upset. Then I flipped it around. Maybe he's growing & changing. Good for him! The dating someone else is a whole nother can of worms when you're poly. It just comes with the territory. It may cost me him. I just have to accept it and mind my own business, like Coach says, it's the only mature thing to do.

I've come across your KZfaq channel a couple of months ago and bought your book "The Knowledge" I have been working on myself and trying to get over this breakup with my ex. I want her back in my life, but I know I have to become the best version of myself first. I don't know if she's dating anyone at this moment. I feel like she is, but I don't have physical evidence. My question is would it be considered a rebound if my ex got with another person if we've been broken up for over a year? We start seeing each other again from Feb to May and one argument caused her to go cold again on me. I went into no contact after we stopped talking and I just broke no contact yesterday. Two months since split I did no contact as he seemed happy leaving… he did find someone else don’t know if she was already on the scene. ? He moved on so quick after years together….She’s his ideal woman from all the things he said he wanted in a women I’m absolutely devastated he posted them laughing I couldn’t believe it…. Dumped after 9 yrs together. I've been devastated the last 3.5 months of nc. Recently found out he'd actually moved on 2 months after our split if not before. Just pure evil of him I think! As painful as its been she can have him. He'll never change, they never do, infact they only get worse as they grow older! Shes put a pic up of them together but he hasn't, I'm still on his fb! I was 100% to what I've discovered is a very selfish man with Narcissistic traits! Good riddance!

About to enter month 4 of no contact, have been using this time to work on myself as i should be. Nov is going to be a tough month, her birthday is this friday and it is going to suck to not reach out, our anniversary is 2 weeks after, and then thanksgiving where we have spent the past many years with family and having fun. I have a feeling she is in a rebound too. she walked away from our 6 yr relationship.

I heard through the grapevine that my ex wants to eventually maybe reach out to me. Idk when but it was said when this semester is over and she gets her emotions an thoughts together She broke up with me after 3 months of dating. I got clingy, needy and sometimes she thought I was upset at her because she was sick (She has been taking seizure meds for the past 5 years and they really take a toll on her mentally and physically.) I never meant to lash out or give her that impression but thats what she picked up She said she doesnt want to date me again and also is worried that If she reaches out I'll just make it about getting back together and not fully understanding what I did wrong and why she broke up the relationship in the first place. She is on tinder again and she also blocked me on social media during the breakup. How can I keep my cool if she reaches out and why exactly would she want to talk to me after saying that she never wants to date me again?

Is it common that the ex does revisit the relationship and while we are working things out they start having doubts and run away again? There’s obviously a lot more going on, but is getting back together usually a process with setbacks?

WombatNinja4 you shouldn’t come off too strong or rush things. It should be simple in the beginning of reconciliation. Casual meet ups, talk about everything but a relationship, it should come off as if they meet the better you and regret their decision. Like they shouldn’t be able to sense you wanting them back, let them do the work and take the decision of wanting you so they think it was their idea, lol it sounds bad but I think this is the only way it’ll work.

I don't get why someone would put themselves through this kind of torturing...checking their social media to see their ex with someone else...makes no sense and is stress inducing. I just blocked mine from all social media. He doesn't exist. He's dead to me.

Hi , my situation is a bit complicated. I live in the U.S and decided a few months ago I wanted a change and felt I wanted to try to move to Spain. During this time I got on a dating site from this place and met an amazing guy. He was the sweetest soul I’ve ever met. Well I planned a trip there and spent two weeks over there. After I came back we still kept talking everyday and he came to see me 4 months later. During all this time I’ve been confused about the relationship which caused me to act cold around him. Now he has been back to his town for a week and has been acting cold. I asked if I did anything wrong and he says no. I apologized for being cold and explained why I was being cold. But still he has been distant. Yesterday he posted a Instagram story showing they were at a concert with God knows who. I didn’t react. I’ve let it be. I don’t know what I should do. I’m so hurt.

Junxiang Yeo no i am giving up hope now .. ex’s just play games to see if they still got you . So heartbreaking i can’t believe i feel for his bs by telling me he will eventually get back together . Don’t believe anything they say. I don’t even want to date because i have no trust in anything men say to me .

I suspect my ex went back to her ex before me. But she was only with him 4 months, with me a year. With several months between us. All friends say he became a stalker and was pretty nasty though. I have not said any negative or nasty things about her.

Hi craige, i went on no contact, and i am still on block from my ex hwoever it has been afew month, but i found out he has found someone else and he is happy with her, they seems to be together in any social event i attend, they are there too, and sometimes suddenly we make eye contact , but i see him with her most of time, he doesnt look sad at all. I dont know what to do ,,, i am still blocked even after afew month and he is with her... no contact didnt work... he didnt come back... he is still with her.. spend more time with her than me in the past...

It was the best decision ever i made and god showed me and carried me in his hands to be able to breakthrough that difficult time❤️ when people don't want us then the best lesson to learn out of it is to make a better version of ourselves , identify the faults in that broken relationship and try to move on while you building yourself to be a better version of yourself for your future relationship and not doing the same mistakes again. It takes time , no one said howmany months it takes but when you build up yourself in positive ways and getting that confident and self steam again then you realise how worth you are and you deserve so much better.
