I'm about 47 minutes in and I don't understand how Mizuki was made into a competent/powerful threat and Konoha's loyal shinobi and anbu failed to hear, feel, or find them during that drawn out mess of a fight.

For those that it matters for, this is ANOTHER NaruHina story. It also does not bash Sakura. Odd combo tbh. Most authors that write NaruHina treat Sakura like the second coming of the devil. Anyway I've had my fill of NaruHina so ill pass on this story. Maybe in the next decade authors will start using more of their imagination on the pairings because this is just getting dull.

Well working with a 12/13 Naruto there's only so many options that isn't bordering a crime (like Anko or kurunai) and pairings outside of konoha or suna would break the world or completely make an OOC Naruto If it was Shippuden Naruto (16+) it wouldn't crazy limited as it wouldn't be a grown woman grooming a child

@MrCadeRay there isn't any need to follow Canon since this is fanfiction. The chuunin exam is relatively early in the story. It's easy to meet temari or kin or Karin even in Canon. Breaking Canon he could meet Fuu or samui's team. Even before that most like fem Haku. And even before that Hinata isn't the only girl in the village his age or close to that. There is Ino, Tenten, Sakura or Yakumo. NaruHina just feels so stale at this point. Why take so much creative liberty and yet act like Hinata is the only girl that could ever possibly like him? It's the Canon pairing but that's the Beauty of fanfiction. You can do any pair you want.

@@shanedeal5774 i said limited not just Hinata. I see pairings you stated pretty often usually it's a harem though so i drop it. I'll agree there isn't a lot of straight up pairings outside of NaruHina. Usually makes it a harem if she's not the main girl Fem Haku is cancer and i hate it. As for keeping canon it depends. If they change a lot of things and still follows canon events it breaks it for me (what i meant). I also mentioned the same village bc temari. Also the waterfall & leaf are allies so it doesn't break canon. Look at what was stated. I said it was limited

@MrCadeRay I agree that changing a lot of things but following Canon is cringe. I've recently liked stories with a Naruto x Tayuya pair but I'm just desperate to find a good fic that isn't naruhina

@@shanedeal5774 that's fair. Like i said most fics that isn't NaruHina is some sort of harem which puts me off (mainly because they don't change anything) I think fanfic writers focus too much on the pairings than the story which is sad because a lot of stories start out great but fall off
