A bunch of weebs found it tragic. I never liked jiraya from the start. His pervy behavior of pathetically watching naked women combined with his cringey sage frogs. He never stood a chance against pain. I don't know why he thought it was a good idea to solo pain. I never thought of jiraya as very strong. He never came across like that to me. Taking out the absorption path by means of the raikage is not hard, he’s too fast, we are not going to ignore the speed. And particle style is going to blow the rest to Bits. She's a cool character but she just seems to scale so differently than the others. Raikage has one of the fastest base speeds in the world and punches like a brick shithouse, Gaara still has all of his sand manipulation abilities without Shukaku, Onoki can delete things out of existence, Danzo has ten Get Out of Jail Free cards, and Mei can... spit lava.

Gaara was on his ass the whole time, and winning until Deidara attacked the village. While Deidara did finesse Gaara with his final move, there's really no narrative implication that either were outright more powerful than the other. I mean Deidara had to sacrifice his arm to get it too. Which kind of shows he didn't really have the power to outright defeat Gaara. But even still War Arc Gaara is waaay more powerful than that Gaara. So trying to say he'd still get 1v 1'd by Edo Deidara is kind of a silly claim.

Sasuke had Karin replenish his Chakra. Sasuke would have lost that fight. Sasukes feats are overrated in this arc. He immediately retreated when Gaara pulled up, got 1 shot by onoki, and needed zetsu to save him from Mei's acid.

@Black Activist first of all the healing path barely shows himself specifically for that reason, he's the most important path, he'd probably hide himself just to keep reviving downed pains. Tendo would probably show up by himself at first and shinra tensei immediately, one shotting all the weaker ones. If danzo doesn't already have his izanagi activated then he doesn't come back. Basically it's pain vs raikage and ohnoki. Particle style would just be getting obsorbed repeatedly imo, kinda useless, if raikage can blitz any of em they get revived and come right back.

It doesn't make sense if 6 paths > 5 kage or else Nagato would have steam rolled every village to get their bijuu. Each path is like mid to high jounin level and all 6 together is mid to high kage (Kakashi and Choji dad 2 jounins figured out how to counter Deva and almost got him if it weren't for Asura) Pain would have done more damage than Sasuke but Sasukes feats are overrated. He would have died 3 times if not for obito zetsu and Karin. (onoki 1 shot him, Karin healed him during danzo fight, zetsu saved him from Meis acid)

Pain lost to Naruto and Naruto at that level, when he was fighting Pain, would not be a match vs all 5 Kage. For god sake Pain basically lost to Jiraiya...Jiraiya simply did not know that there are 3 more bodies, that can attack him after the genjutsu is over, after he killed the 3 bodies he was fighting against. Even Pain said that they only won vs Jiraiya because they had that secret. The 5 Kage forced the real madara to go full power. SO Pain is nothing vs the 5 Kage. Evene Obito ( as fake madara ) did not want to fight all 5 kage ) and he was the leader, he ordered Pain around.

I think they were just saying that if one pain is caught in a genjustu then the other 5 and nagato wouldn’t be effected regardless if it’s is ocular or auditory. Like each body has to be hit with the genjutsu for it to work

But the kages are no joke either. the 3rd Raikage legit fought the 8 tails to a draw, so that according to me, puts him above pain. @@justawildgengar Pain would absolutely stomp Gaara. No doubt about that. But Deidara... I don't know about that. His stronger attacks (the c4 and his self-destruct) take a lot of time, so Gaara could easily seal them away. That he was defeated by Deidara was only cuz he was distracted. I think in a death match with noone around Gaara would take the cake. If Gaara would unleash everything he has with the intend to kill him quickly, I don't think Deidara would find the time to create anything big enough to threaten Gaara. Even outside the dessert Gaara has shown (as a kid btw) that he can turn an entire forest into a dessert in a blink of an eye. He also is able to mix minerals into his sand if not distracted to tank even stronger attacks. So anything below the c4 would only be a mild inconvenience to him. And as I said, Deidaras stronger attacks aren't exactly the fastest. + he isn't the best on the defensiv-side. If Gaara gets him, he is dead.
