Evolution is one of the most fun things in Pokemon, but not every Pokemon evolves in the same way. With that in mind, what if Pokemon that normally only evolve once, actually evolved twice instead? What would their evolved forms look like? In this video we will be exploring that concept and looking at what it could be like if some two-stage Pokemon received a third stage evolution someday!

On the furret front: Years ago when I was an active pixel artist, I had a friend design a furret evolution that was a half fairy type when fairy was new! It's been stuck in my head that it should exist ever since

I've always seen Fearow as a Counterpart to Pidgeot, so I've always been disappointed that it didn't get a Mega Evolution. I feel the same way about Milotic, Slowking, Froslass, and Mew. ( Whose counterparts all got a Mega Evolution)

7:30 Drifblim should definitely redeem itself. But I don't think of an evolution in that case, but of its movepool. Look up its Flying Type Moves. Five in total. And that's already using all additional avenues like TMs and Egg Moves. Why is that (still) a thing? 10:00 I love this design. Especially as it correct the great mistake that Masquerain was subjected to. The Type Change from unique(at the time) to run on the mill.

If Chimecho had a final evolution I imagine it as a really creepy ghost psyquic that references how spirits use wind chimes to communicate

When I was a kid I tried so desperately to evolve chimeco. It was one of my favorite pokemon that I fell in love with & its baby form. But me being a kid without the internet to tell me its impossible,I ended up with a level 100 chimeco. Also the same thing happened with clampearl. Lvl. 100. Never knew how to evolve it. T^T

@@fredztuhh I mean people in the know would know & nowadays news is easier to get to. But back then or just in general really,how did they expect anyone to know these things? In the games there should have been like an area school that explains all the out of the way evolutions. Like how some npcs talk about how to evolve eevees etc

I did a similar thing when I was really young by trying to evolve a Fearow into a Ho-Oh. I trained it on 1 islands volcano/mountain thinking it wouldn’t work but it never did. I feel kind of silly about it now 😂

When I was a kid I tried to evolve Graveler by level up. I knew Golem existed, and I got Graveler to level 60-70 or so while I was at the doctor's office one day... Looked it up when I got home and it's a trade evolution x_x I've never had any friends to trade with either, so I was just stuck with a really high level Graveler that I couldn't do anything with lol. I hate trade evolutions so much

FRREAAAKK YES! THE Furret evolution looks so good! A little "goody two-shoes" like, especially since it's part fairy, which takes out the fact that Furret looks like the most happy-neutral pokemon out there. But the design still looks so damn GOOD!

Question, did you know that Truegreen7 has a whole art series where he gives Pokémon that either don't evolve or only evolve once evolutions? Ones that you mentioned that he's done to date are Grumpig, Ledian, and Furrett - though Furrett's was a regional one for his region Asone.

Honestly I think not making Fearow and Arbok Dark/Flying and Dark/Poison when Gen 2 rolled around was a mistake, it would have been a perfect way to make things blend better, like how Magnemite was retroactively made a Steel type

i realize that clauncher and clawitzer probably don't need an evolution, but imagine a shrimp with TWO giant arm cannons. it could even have a new ability similar to mega launcher, but instead of pulse and sphere moves getting a 50% power boost, pulse and sphere moves would hit twice! edit: i also think all of the regional rodents, like raticate, diggersby, and greedent, could get new evos, similar to how galarian linoone got obstagoon.

I would love to see a new form for Woobat that goes from Flying/Psychic type to a Psychic/Fairy type. Because that would go further to establish it and the Zubat family as counterparts to one another as they would be super effective against each other. Plus, it already has that cutesy heart motif, so I'm sure that it becoming a Fairy type wouldn't be that far fetched.

I clicked this video as soon as I saw Chimecho. You have NO idea how much I want my baby to have another evolution!! Have always used and always loved Chimecho, buffed it like crazy in Ultra Moon - hoping it will receive an additional typing; fairy/ghost/steel. WOULD BE MY DREAM!!!!!!!!

Beeheeyem has so much potential for new evolutions based on alien-related acronyms and their subjects. Like, it's criminal that they didn't make one based of alien spacecraft, made it Psychic/Flying (or a Psychic/Steel with Levitate), and call it "Yooefoh". Another idea for a Beeheeyem evolution is one that appears to be wearing black clothes, and uses it's psychic abilities to make others forget. "Emaibii". Psychic/Normal, to represent the illusion of normalcy it tries to perpetuate. Based on the conspiracy about government agents harassing or manipulating those who witnessed alien activity, a conspiracy made famous in a certain Will Smith movie.

I was a Gen 4 kid, but I'm finding I have a soft spot for a lot of Gen 2 Pokemon because I have a special love for Chimecho and I'm not really sure why, and also recently came to the realization that Girafarig could rank in like my top 5 Pokemon of all time.

Would be cool to see a third evo for the Bisharp line. Pawnaird is Based of Tokusatsu Foot soldiers while Bisharp being more of the Hero, like a Kamen Rider/Super Sentai. And Could go in a more Ultraman/Mecha Growth. And while typing that, the Golurk line before it, being Based on Mecha. Both the Golurk and Bisharp lines are heavily influenced by the popular japanese media of the 70s, namely super robots and tokusatsu. So that could also get a second evo to go hand in hand.

MAROWAK needs a new evolution! It would be awesome if it could merge with a fossil for a new form, such as with Aerodactyl. It has a cool theme for the Pokemon and so much potential for what it could become

I've seen those fanarts swirling around and I gotta say they're very good and indeed in line with gamefreak code of design. I sometimes think why gamefreak don't try to make those designs come to live. Like they could contact the originator and procure the designs. It would be awesome to give them a shoutout, and honestly good ideas are still good regardless of where they come from

I typically went for fearow because of the power it brought early game, and its consistency threw to the late game. My general team for the Kanto region was venosaur, dugtrio, fearow, nidoking, vaporeon, and arcanine.

After watching these two videos and looking back at Pokémon from gens 5 and 6 really makes me believe they purposely left the door open for a lot of them to evolve. On top of the ones you mentioned I would say Galvantula, Mienshao, Beheeyem, Maractus, Druddigon, and maybe the monkey trio from gen 5 and Furfrou, Gogoat, Barbaracle, and Hawlucha from gen 6

For Chimecho's Evolution, i would say Chimebell is a good one For Noctowl's Evolution, i think Noctelder For Swoobat's Evolution, i think maybe Vambat sounds pretty cool For Masquerain's Evolution, Masqueranian is pretty good For Fearow's Evolution, i think Feariot is pretty good Thats all I got

Chimecho is a Wind Chime, as such, it would not evolve into a big bell, maybe a more complicated wind chime, but, not a bell.

Mr. Mime, Jynx, Golduck, Kingler, Houndoom & Banette are all pokemon I wish had a 3rd stage evolution. I also wouldn't mind seeing some eeveelutions get a new form, especially if they get a 2nd type. Like if Vaporeon turned into a water/dragon type called Kireon, or Sylveon gaining the steel type & becoming Valkyreon!

I was working on a Pokemon fan game with a Grass type with seasonal forms based on peppers, with summer being Grass/Fire.

Pokemon Xenoverse has a Grass/Fire pepper pokemon too. It's called Pepequeno and it basically pranks others by disguising itself as a berry to get them to bite it so it can laugh at their reaction to the spicy heat.

Coincidentally on the same day this came out, I made an evolution to chinecho based on the Japanese temple bell, checked my notifications, and saw this. I made my evolution a Psychic/Sound type and it's called Bonshooming (Bonshu + Booming)

That noctowl evolution would have been perfect for the Hisui region. Also, as I said before, just because you aren't adding a bunch of bells and whistles to a pokémon's evolution doesn't mean it's disappointing in any way; I, for one, like drifblim. That said, I absolutely love the idea of a third form based on a blimp or zeppelin. As for masquerain, not that it is officially in a rivalry relationship with araquanid, if one gets an evolution, the other should get one too. Additionally, since it started out as a bug/water type end evolved into a bug/flying type, is should not go back to being a bug/water type. Finally, if furret gets an evolution, I think it should be something like obstagoon.

Not a sleigh bell. Chingling is a Suzu Bell which is a Japanese Shinto bell. A Suzu bell has two hole openings while a Sleigh bell would commonly have 4 openings and gets paired with a solid red cloth while the Suzu bell is made from rope that has been intertwined in a red and white fashion.

An ideal I had for Gen IX that I hope Nintendo does is a regional variant for Eevee where it becomes a Fighting-Type and can evolve into a Rock, Ground, and Steel-Type. Or perhaps a Fighting/Rock-Type, a Fighting/Ground-Type, and a Fighting/Steel-Type.

I think Sunflora should evolve into a two head pokemon. One typical sunflower head and the other a red sunflower head. Yellow head smiles and is the grass while red head looks angry and is fire Call it Sunforest or Sunflorist. The main head changes it's petals to red and face gets a bit darker, one of Sunflora's arms grows into a head looking similar to the original but is smaller. the other arm becomes a tail. Thats my idea
