I personally like the look of your regional variants of Gothorita & Gothitelle, which I never thought I would ever say/type out. I've never liked the look of the Gothita line, so you nailed this. Given their inspiration, they would definitely need the Dancer ability. The Rock/Ghost variants of Sandygast and Palossand are clever. I also love your take on a Water-type snake Pokémon with Hoennian Sandaconda. I love your Fire/Dark-type variant of Crabrawler and the regional evolution Crabroiler. I love what you did with Unovan Riolu & Lucario. The coloration as a whole, the typing, the ice replacing the metal, the inspiration, as well as the gray hair being reminiscent of Hisuian Zorua & Zoroark(at least to me). The Fire/Psychic variants of Staryu and Starmie looks good.

Gotta admit, when you said something along the the lines of a canine of the underworld, I was kinda thinking you would make Unovan Houndour and Houndoom. But Unovan Riolu and Lucario are awesome too!

Unovan Lucario & Riolu are really cool! Ice-Ghost has only been used once, and that pokemon is one of my favourites! It would be fun to see this Lucario!

Hoennian fire/ground Gigalith line? Inspired on the desert and mt. Chimney on route 111 and 112, could be a Pure fire and pure ground type, like they adapted to both desert and the mt chimney or just a Fire and sand type that can be found on both areas

I love stuff like this. I daydream of the day we could get a Kanto reboot instead of a remake and have, like here, come up with my own Kantonian forms as well. The ones I'm most excited about is a pure Fairy Ralts and Fairy/Dark Kirlia and Gardevoir that adapt to living in Mt. Moon because their kind spirits leads to them wanting to guid people through Mt. Moon (the dark type purely being for moon related purposes). Don't know quite what to do with Gallade tho.... maybe Fairy/Fighting or Fairy/Steel? (like in becoming a knight maybe.....)

I would love to see you do another regional form video but have it be ‘What if spin off regions had regional forms?’ So like Pokémon that would have regional forms from Orre (Colosseum and XD Gale of Darkness), Ransei (Pokémon Conquest), one of the regions from the Pokémon Ranger games, or the region from Pokken. ^^ I think it’d be cool

To a degree we had some of it in early games, with the different Arbok patterns. Or at least the patterns on the sprite work look different to me

I am not a Crabominable fan nor a crab fan in general but Crabroiler's design is SO GOOD! Takes the Pokemon it's based on from a 1/10 to a solid 8/10 for me!

as someone who's mascot OC is a white riolu that's died several times (long lore not even friends barely know) I LOVE the unovan riolu/lucario lines (also mirrors their unovan counterparts in my eyes, Zorua, who became ghost/normal lol)

I'm genuinely surprised that we didn't get a geisha inspired 'mon in Johto. Iirc, Ecruteak city is based on Kyoto and the largest geisha district, Gion, is in Kyoto. It would have made so much sense.

Fun fact: Zen mode Darmanitan-Galar is STILL one of the few (if not the only) official pokemon that doesnt have official artwork

Interesting concept for Sinnohan Crabrawler, although I see it starting off as mono dark-type, and it gains the fire-type upon evolution. Speaking of which, Sinnohan Crabrawler will evolve into Crabroiler by leveling up at Stark Mountain or by fire stone post gen 4.

Technically, Sinnoh was the first region to give us something close to regional forms with the Shellos line since they had forms dependent on which side of the region you found them in. And yet Game Freak did nothing with that until Alola when they finally explored the idea of Pokemon that adapted to their surroundings to the point where it altered their very typing. I’m really hoping future remakes of past regions fixes that problem since regional forms (and the later inclusion of exclusive evolutions) was one of their best and most creative ideas for the core games.

I remember making making a fanmade regional Alola varient for the entire Rults line based on hula dancers and fire dancers, even made 2 forms based on their gender. The females are the Hula dancers with the Grass/Fairy and the males are the fire dancers with the Fire/Fighting type.

You should do mega evolutions for these regional forms, not existing regional forms, but these ones just to be clear

the crabrawler line needed the fire tile since they are based on yeti crabs who reside near the volcanoes of the ocean

I really like all of these, especially the Pallosand.

One thing that I find interesting is that Eevee isn’t catchable in the wild until Black 2 and White 2, only ever gifted So prior to Let’s Go I did have a thought that was “what if Eevee originated from a different region and we got Kantonian Eevee that was Ground type (chinchilla inspired design), able to evolve into the remaining eeveelutions”

This is such a perfect idea and one I wish The Pokemon Company would allow because it just makes sense. They already retconned a lot of Pokemon into Fairy-Types when it was introduced so why not this? (It's like them refusing to accept the mistake they made with Lugia's typing)

Great Video! One I will be hoping for until we get the poison/ice typing will be regional forms for Nidoking and Nidoqueen. I think giving them a viking feel, with ice armor and longer hair could really give the unused type good representation.

I think Shinnoh is the only region other than Alolah, Galar, and Paldea to have regional forms. Sure we didn't see this in the gen 4 remasters, but in future Let's go Shinoh games we'll definitely see them.

Hey, I got an idea for you. Since the xy starter (I think, I am not sure) are inspired by dnd class, why not a pokemon for every dnd class ?

Hot take Bdsp is misunderstood it may not have had platinum content but it did add it’s own new stuff like expanded underground, updated qol, modern type chart, modern movepool, ramanas park etc and it’s got wholesome vibes Also Ilca is more experienced now It was loved by the mainstream casual audience The more hardcore fans may not have liked it but they weren’t the target audience The game was designed to be an approachable game for beginner players so they had to make it look as cute and as welcoming as possible hence the chibi appearance

If they revisit Johto or Unova like some have predicted they absolutely need to implement regional forms

11:44 technically Crabominable was based on a newer trench crustacean called the Yeti crab and making it evolve on the mountain gave it that Abominable touch. So if anything sinnoh's crabrawler should be a spider crab with Ushi-oni highlights.

I'm kinda late, but kanto does have a beach south of fuchsia and in a place literally called treasure beach

There are precisely two beaches in Kanto if you don't count the Sevii Islands, and those are at Cinnabar Island and Fuschia City.

...I really expected crabrawler to evolve by boiling it. I would say Staryu line is my fave tho

This was something I wish the Sinnoh remakes did, having Sinnohan variants of various Pokemon if only to give it better type diversity. But alas, they didn't have any time and had to stay "faithful" to a fault. At the very least they had the Grand Underground. Still, they could've had Platinum's expanded Pokedex. I myself had the idea of Water/Ground variants for the Sandile line that live in the swamp areas along with an Electric/Ice variant of the Electrike line that gained the Ice typing as to survive the harsher climates of Sinnoh. Now... I had the idea of Sinnohan variants of Rowlet, Cyndaquil, and Oshawott that'd evolve into Hisuian Decidueye, Typhlosion, and Samurott due to them having traces of those forms. Possibly as part of the Grand Underground alongside the other Hisuian variants.

13:48 interesting enough the original ancient of Anubis was actually supposed to be more of a golden wolf which that was said to dunk its head in the fresh soil near the Nile which in result turn its face into a pure black giving it the marker of saying that is Anubis there was no mention back then of it being a jackal at all

By technicalities crawdaunt is a regonal form but just not exclusive to one regon because we know that corphish comes from another region making crawdaunt possibly a exeggcutor situation where crawdaunt might not be its original evolution line

My one thing about Crabroiler is that one of the things I like about Crabominable is its stature. Crabroiler doesn't evoke that same stature to me; It kinda just looks like Crabrawler with even more spikes
