Kaigaku wasn’t ready to take on a hashira level slayer yet. He had just become a demon and was already able to combine his breathing style and BDA. It was stated if he fought zenitsu a year later that he would beat zenitsu easy. 50 year old kaigaku would be upper moon 2.

All of Tanjiro squad was literally already Hashira level by the time of the infinity castle arc. They just didn’t have the title of Hashira. This is proven by a variety of different things 1) Zenetsu solo upper 6 2) Giyu states that Tanjiro strength and speed is to the level of a Hashira during the beginning of the fight with Akaza 3) Kanoa is stated by Douma to be stronger than Shinobu and Inoske is fighting on par with Kanoa. 4) Genya demon absorption ability against Kokushibo.

I've said in a few videos, our three musketeer trio should be named honorary Hashiras when the Corp disbanded. Kanae on the other hand, a full fledged Hashira as she was Shinobu's designated successor

I wish in the original timeline muzan actually got away. Zenitsu did. And Tanjiro killed 3 ( even if he had help, he handled them really well and the other Hashiras only helped when Tanjiro was about to die) Inosuke and Kanao killed Douma, but it was only because of Shinobu's scarfise

Nothing would really change in the story. Douma would never really take a fight seriously it’s just how he is, plus he was poisoned af by the time Inosuke got there. The only way we would see Douma full power is if another hashira fought him, but shinobu did great. Douma is the only upper moon who got killed in the arc. The other two just gave up and milled themselves. Out of the gamaboku squad the only one who can be a hashira by that time is Tanjiro and even there he is on par only with Muichiro. Sanemi and Giyuu are still levels above Tanjiro. The only version of Tanjiro that surpasses any Hashira is 13th form Tanjiro. The only reason Tanjiro didn’t die in the infinity castle was because Akaza gave up, if not he and Giyuu would be dead.

But when he beheaded the main body of Hantengu he had been totally alone on the fields. Nezuko was busy not burning to death and Mui was spaced out because of his fight with upper 5. Tanjiro had been alone so I think this scenario can be argued but I do think that this counts. Since Sanemi also had help from Masachika when he beheaded the lower 1 demon, he died afterwards but had helped him. But yet Sanemi became a Hashira. Also, why are you so rude? I know my stuff too😋

@@TomiokaGiyuu2518 I am sorry I did not mean to come across rude I see it now looking back and for that I apologize, but tankiro did have help to kill hantengu from genya so there for he didn't have help wile nezuko and tanjiro were fighting the different emotions he went after the main body with blade and fire arm , so sure tanjiro was the one who ended him for good but he still had help from others (again despite not even knowing you I admit I was rude and I'm sorry was not intentional)
