here's a twist: adding on to your suggestion that the universe may have consciousness, maybe life in the universe is the manifestation of said consciousness.

I think consciousness is more of a passive perception rather than a force. On the contrary, we humans, have free will, which is more of an active thing that needs to be exercised. So, I would rather say that humans are driven by life force, which is responsible for animating and controling all the atoms composing our physical body. And when we die, the life force is being removed from our physical body and there is no way to reanimate it. But all of its atoms havent died for that matter, because they can't, it's just matter.

@@cevapipapi8920 Consciousness isn't necessarily a scientific term in terms of being technical, it's just a common noun, especially when science can't even explain it. I myself have an attitude of a scientist, but unlike many scientists, I'm open to all possibilities until they have been personally proven to be wrong to me, and that includes the existence of a potential God. So, consciousness wise, since it's impossible to explain it yet, all we can do is have an opinion about it, and I just gave mine because it seems logical to me. But if you have a different one, I would gladly listen to you and may conform to yours if it's more logical to me.

well, yes, but I think it's more like we are just expressions of the universal consciousness and that consciousness is what makes up/permeates the entire universe and every subatomic particle in it. It predates us. It's ancient beyond belief. It was probably in existence even before this universe if I had to guess.

@John BlackBerry the big bang is only a theory derived from Astro biologist and is not considered a fact. Therefore all you have is a belief/speculation with no EVIDENCE. Also you said "they all know in there hearts". WELL if you are apparently a mind reader then so am I ,and I say no they think that it came from something that isn't divine just something unknown. You too should watch all the THEORY documentaries about the big bang and all you will see if that we have strong predictions and NOT EVIDENCE of a divine power!!! Looks like my opinion is just as valid as yours again. So who is right??? No one, that's what's useless about discussing beliefs and not facts. So I disagree with your OPINION/BELIEF 😁

right, could there be a scale below our subatomic particles which experience time/space in a smaller scale? Could there be conscious beings living on an as yet undiscovered particle in one atom of one cell in one organ, in one being...or if infinitely looping fractals exist in mathematics, perhaps that is the nature of the infinite in our universe: scale. We see repeating patterns in states of matter. What if it goes up and down in scale infinitely. Then maybe the larger cosmic being whose brain you live within, seeing it as a visible universe is actually...you!

It also could be that the universe taught molecules how to form and create living beings. We would not exist without the space and time that the universe gives us, so in my opinion is not crazy to think that the universe is a living creature, or at least a part of it.

I find it interesting that some creation myths, Northern European, for instance, say the universe is made from the body of a slain giant, using his skull to create the sky, which also refers to the cosmos. They filled his skull with sparks creating the stars.

Well, we are made of the same material as the rest of the universe, in that sense, we are the universe, and we are conscious. So yes, the universe is conscious, because we are conscious. It’s true on our level, so I wouldn’t be shocked if it was true on all levels.

Interesting but I don't think it can be true. If we swap consciousness and body we gain a new memory and we might feel nothing wrong afterwards, but we memorized our identity before sleep and it still the same after we wake up.

so now i’m thinking… what if we are in the brain part of the universe and the whole body is still forming like an unborn fetus? what if there is like parts of the body that have already been created like the legs or arms and those are parts that have different kinds life and physics?

The Reality of the Situation is you being within one universe of a bacteria level within a Primordial Body of Mine. Anywho, to keep you save from void of nothingness that would otherwise snuff you out of existence. Think of a place to nurture children, like a day care...yes humanity children anyways. The quicker we get through the prologue of apocalyse the better. Being in here with children grows tiring within itself. And only those who aren't going to take offense with grasp the hints.

the universe looks like a brain in photos because the artists who created the photos draw the photos to look like space brains. A lot of photos of space are created by an artists interpretation of the data we have discovered. Really they are just showing what we *think* it looks like.

Its so insane that you as a conscious being (literally the universe personified) is asking if the universe is conscious while you are utilizing consciousness to ask that question. WE ARE THE UNIVERSE, THERE IS NO SEPERATION BETWEEN US AND EXISTENCE/UNIVERSE.

As someone who has died several times I can confirm that the brain works like a computer/cosmos with that being said what I noticed in death I've also noticed in nature so I can be said that the universe and a brain work the same....remember we are all just players in a grand game, atoms structure everything and they by nature have an electric charge to them, to clarify atoms are the game

I’ve always thought this, and thought life had to be the universe trying to solve a problem! Sending out feelers, exactly like a trees roots, to basically create something that wants to solve this unknown problem for no reason in particular. That creation could be us! We could be the universe trying to, say, figure out how to time travel by creating life, which is essentially a way to create information from lack of information.

have you heard the term as above so below? the earth acts as its own living organism and so does the universe itself. but the earth also behaves very much like an electron as well. it orbits a star that is far more massive, rotates around an axis, and it even has its own magnetic field. taking into account that the universe is conscious, as is the earth, as are the life forms on the earth, and the cells that make them up, perhaps there is really no such thing as something that is not alive and experiencing some form of consciousness of its own. we might be living in a doctor souse stile nesting dole of living entities that make up bigger conscious entities.

Universe IS conscience. It is alive. The Frequency of the human heart is the same exact frequency of the planet on which you live. We are all one we are connected. It is one big living organism. It's been this way and until everyone understands that and raises their vibrations and awareness the world will be doomed. A very second that everyone is enlightened not just a few of us but everyone is awakened to this very idea and understands that it is very real and very true the proof of it is all around that is when we can graduate into the next level of human consciousness.

When you consider this hypothesis, then everything begins to make sense such as why cycle of life needs to keep moving why energy transforms from one form to another, why time needs to keep on moving...why isn't everything just stopped / still. When I thought about these ....I came to ig similar theory that the universe might be a small unit of a calcultive machine(a simulation for calculating possiblities maybe? Or something similar) ......these theories doesn't have a solid basis but they look intriguing from a holistic perspective

Isn't that part of the conundrum in physics. I've been working with Einsteins theory for 18 years. Ever since I had an accident and ended up in the VA Hospital. A fight for life. The simplest way that I can kind of hold the concept is, to think of it like music it is arranged understanding the scales. It is a self-starter. Meaning you have to pick up the guitar and play it., which is based on the scale of physics. Age 65. 1 Cav. Now just a citizen.

Yeah, like 70% of the universe is dark energy. It seems to be empty but it isn't empty at all. Empty space isn't empty.

@@athleticcigsmoker No it's essentially the Scientific equivalent of a buzzword as far as I can tell. Matter is everything that we can see, know of/ roughly conceptualise. Anti - Matter is the opposite and that is the 'true' empty space of sorts. It's like the literal opposite of all that we know but we can at least (to my knowledge) conceptualise it to a degree. Dark Matter is something entirely different and is a physical thing just like Matter. It's a very real and tangible thing but we just can't quite understand exactly what it is. There does seem to be a 4th type of Matter as well, Kurzesgast have a vid on it I think. They tend to simplify everything but as simple introductions to topics go they're definitely the undisputed 🐐's. It's called Strange Matter and seems to be a sort of wildcard in comparison to its 3 older siblings. From what I can gather. Matter - What most things are made of Anti Matter - What Some things are made of Strange Matter - Pure Chaos Dark Matter - A Big Fat mystery/ buzzword used to describe the parts of the universe we don't understand. Keep in mind I'm as confused about this as you are lol 😂.

What if the universe's so called "consciousness" was God himself? It would explain when the concept the narrator said for the universe to have consciousness, it would need to know its position within the total system of existence. Hence it would have to know how it relates toeverything and even things like us. This can represent the concept of God or higher power as an omniscient entity.

I do believe the same thing. I believe God is infinite, and so separation is an illusion, in the sense that all the matter must fit inside the container of infinity itself. While there is no physical separation, there is still a separation in terms of entity, in the way He created us and the universe. Indeed, each person possess their own will, so does God. However, God may have many type of energies and the ones that make us as well as the universe probably does't possess divinity. So, divinity may be something we must pray for.

I think the universe is imbued with consciousness maybe not necessarily 'conscious' itself as a being if that makes any sense. All matter on a quantum level is imbued with this same consciousness and we are fractal expressions of that ONE consciousness perhaps born to quantify and understand itself.
