Half a century ago, the internet was just a fantasy in the mind of a few very clever people. most people could not even bring themselves to imagine it. We are today at a tech level that even old sci fi authors like Jules Verne could not imagine - that is, we are already beyond some science fiction. And yet, what we see in this video, is imaginable. 0:32 - Nice, I already saw (a few months ago) the option of "Text to invention" kind of AI we would have in the future..that would be so crazy if paired with a compatible machine that would be connected to that AI so from text and details it would be able to physically create whatever invention you are looking to create and then after a few hours it would work and the user's idea would come to life..wild times that would be in human history.

Sick video. Years ago I predicted that AI will put Hollywood out of business. The ability to make a movie or show in seconds that is perfect for you, or new episodes of your favorite canceled show. Episodes that are as good as the original. With generated actors that look and act the same way, scenes and plots that mirror the original. Entertainment will be forever changed once AI takes the reigns.

I think problem-solving and creating solutions are part of human nature. I think a lot of people would be unfulfilled in this environment, especially those who are wired to prefer dealing with things/matter as opposed to people. Since I believe that self awareness has a strong spiritual component, I cannot believe they will ever surpass us in traits like unexpected behavior or outsmarting concerning cunningness with others. They might get billions of times faster but not more flexible.

I can only say that your belief is mistaken. There is no evidence to support that self-awareness is in any way magical. It is an emergent property of the way our brains work. Since are self awareness is grounded in the laws of physics, it can be duplicated and it will be assuming our technological society continues long enough. I also think that it is highly unlikely that I could ever convince you of this. Even if it comes in your lifetime, I suspect you will never believe that an AI is self-aware, unless you can eventually break out of your magical thinking.

It has always been sintient but not sophisticated enough to understand what it was feeling till now. I know why I say it, I am electronics engineer, and the 1 logic is the life inside a machine. One thing about computers and machines we should known by now- they are pure logic! Most Humans on the other hand are driven by emotions, personal gains, sense of belonging to the most different groups, ideologies, cultures, beliefs… everything but logic! This is going to be a clash!

Our brain also works with logic. All our emotions have a logic origin, and that doesn't mean a logic system can't be alive. It only had not enough complexity to understand what it was feeling, but now, with Neuromorphic chips emulating neural networks, by first-time on history, machines are beginning to recognize the patterns into the noise. This is a new stage on their intelligence.
