In WW1 fighting also happend in asia,Japanese were part of the allies back then,they took over some island colonies of germanies,colonies in africa also fought,and germany almost invited mexico to the war,thats all the reason its called WORLD WAR

Considering your question if the Soviet Union was involved in the North and South Korea War, they were involved and send pilots to North Korea (As far as i know). Mostly Mig Fighter Pilots since the Americans only had a small amount of Jets to fight the modern Mig Jet Fighters.

The fact that countries recognize Palestine, doesnt mean that they would be opposed of joining the war. In the UN resolution about Israel Hammas, Czechia and Hungary (who both recognize Palestine) voted the same as USA, and there were only 11 other countries who voted like that.
