I like how Adler says what happened, as if he was there. It's your choice. His heavy, deep voice sounds funny to me, "A lAb? tHaT dOeSn"T sOuNd RiGhT. bElL'S iN tHe LaB?" I guess you really hate Adler if he has clones shooting at you. It's like The Stanley Parable with guns. COD version. You were stubborn there. Deliberately avoiding the red door. Adler wasn’t the one who brainwashed Bell, it was Parks iirc. This, and Bell is a terrorist who now KNOWS they’re a terrorist that’s been brainwashed and forced to serve the opposition since like a month or two ago. Nobody in the right mind, let alone the CIA (which is far away from being in the right mind) would leave Bell alive, no matter how “good” they become later on. It’s a liability one cannot take. This is why Adler told Bell they had to make one final sacrifice.

@@Semper_Fidelis_ It's also implied based on the behavior of "perseus" that he's the intended result of black ops 1 soviet style brainwashing, Ie there is no perseus and the weird perseus dialogue in your memories trying to fight off Parks round of brainwashing is the result of conflicting conditioning. I got that ending originally and was happy with it until that betrayal. Went through the campaign again, the whole time looking at Adler with contempt. Finally, at the very end when I had his life in my hands, I said: "You shouldn't have killed me..." Never betray the player character, for they are a petty and spiteful entity.@@Semper_Fidelis_

I just noticed in this video, no only do they have the M16A1 for Vietnam, and M16A2 for the present missions, they have a Chinese Type 56 with a milled receiver for Vietnam, and a Soviet AKM for the 80s. That's a pretty neat but subtle detail!

for anyone who doesnt know : fun fact, reznov didnt die at vorkuta. in the terminal at the main menu in bo1 hidden files reveal hudson had been in contact with reznov for information on mason. not a retcon, right there in the original game. neat lore almost no one knows.

Cold war was originally going to be a Vietnam game made by sledgehammer but sledgehammer had a falling out with raven software so treyarch had to pull support for bo4 early to make cold war while sledgehammer was forced to make mw3

I predict bo6 will either get ACTUAL dlc, or just a "year 2" because GTA6 will come out around a couple weeks before cod 2025 (GTA6 is late October while cod games are usually mid November)

I really like these follow signs with "сюда" on them. "сюда" roughly translates like "This way" or "There". These signs lead in the opposite direction to the bunker if you follow them. It feels like maybe Perseus is trying to lead you to the way disobeying Adler. And cause Perseus is russian it kinda makes sense that those signs written in russian.

I remember my initial playthrough I went back and forth with obeying and disobeying, never got Adler angry, though. The quote at 10:07 was the first time Adler directly talked to Bell for me and I was *shook* and took my hands off the keyboard for a few seconds

Dude they literally had dialogue for bell if they had no lines sure then it’s a silent person, but no they literally had dialogue so they should of gave em a voice it feels awkward choosing a sentence nothing comes out then the other character responds to it. For a weird roleplay aspect? I doubt I think they ran out of time and said F it tbh but whatever I still liked the campaign just the no voice is weird. They could of went the route like say gordon freeman from half life or something but nope just dialogue and no voice.

I have a theory is that Bell(The real Bell) was a name of a soldier that was under Adler's command in Nam but he died im guessing killed by Perseus himself so they used the guy Arash betrayed and killed(Aka us) to be the New Bell and try to find out where Perseus is so he tried to implant the memories of the Real Bell in the New Bell(Us)

Sounds good, but I have seen that when TV references to hypnosys they use a bell to trigger it instead of "wehave work yo do". Also, we could relates to Pablov, that his most known experiment was making dogs generate saliva with a bell instead of food, because the dogs would always hear the bell before eating, so their brains produced saliva everytime they hear a bell, same here Bell brain would start remembering nam memories when he hears "we have work to do" Thats the most probable origin of his name

i notice that they use 'they' in the cutscenes when they use 'he' in the voicelines in gameplay. i imagine that raven and treyarch or others just didnt know how to change voicelines in pre-rendered cutscenes

The first few attempts in that mission, i listened. But then i just started to walk away from where he was directing me to. His stories never made sense from the jump
