I feel like she wanted to be a mom and felt like she wanted people to see her as “successful” as the viewed the woman she worked for. And I feel like she was depressed and maybe felt like if people saw “how good” she was doing that she’d feel like she was more successful and be happy with herself about it. Maybe she wants kids of her own but she’s not in a place to have her own real children

I think she’s disturbed, but I don’t think she’s dangerous, I feel sorry for her that she needs to seek that kind of attention to feel valued, I hope she got help and feels whole and is stable now

Years ago I confronted a girl on Facebook for doing the exact same thing!! I even went as far as finding the woman who's ultrasound she posted and was claiming as her own and notified her that this girl had stolen her picture and used it saying it was hers. Her "boyfriend" (the girl stealing the pics) started harassing me online which I then blocked him. Honestly not sure if he was even real. Pretty sure it was her using pics of guys to claim as her boyfriend. People are crazy

Having dealt with people who have done similar to this, I would err on the side of compassion. What could have happened to this girl to cause her to do these things. That is all I can do is wonder.

Other posts say to show her compassion, but as both a Nanny & Tutor, what she did was way over the professional line! This wasn't just a casual friend. This was a professional caregiver. I don't even post kids I work with because that is disrespecting the child's privacy

Man, it’s only $50~$100 for a full background check on someone. That is a very small price to pay when hiring and/or bringing someone into our homes and, more importantly, into our kids’ lives. I’m a registered in home daycare provider, so the state runs a thorough background check on everyone over a certain age in my household (I believe it was over 16yrs).

I have to say that I give this girl props for being honest. I'm sure that's not easy to do. And for those who might think that I think what she did was okay, *NO!!!* That's not what I'm saying, nor would I ever say. She obviously had/has some kind of psychological issues that need help.
