I don’t have any issue with the girl . I only have a problem with how unnecessarily aggressive she is when correcting mistakes. There’s a way to be stern and direct while also being encouraging towards growth. I work in healthcare and this is a common issue I see, people who are really good at their job but horrifying to learn from or work with.

Agreed 100% I just made a similar comment. Shouting and screaming and embarrassing people is not the way to go but I see potential for change in her and she definitely has good qualities. I kinda like her.

Agreed. Working in healthcare. The senior that are very good one, are the one whom the toughest to learn with. Hahaha. Nervous wreck everyday. 🤣

That's unfortunately common in med life. Life as intern is hell. Your superiors would yell at you, belittle your mistakes infront of everyone but still act like they did nothing wrong.

one cultural thing westerners might not understand is that she knows yelling at someone is not a good way to correct the person's mistakes but it is the embarrassment that is being used here as a tool. Most of korean people grow up being yelled at by their parents or teachers so at certain point, people get used to it so it doesn't really damage them much but it is embarrassment being displayed publicly, it will do the job.

She has a mother in law who thinks of her as a maid and naive and now she's imagining her life with a self centered daughter in law. I just hope the writers won't try to polish their marriage by making him fall inlove and second chances.

No they showed that mother in law secretly cares for her she has a big cafe as a property on dr.cha’s name.. Also now when they all get to know about the affair she feels bad for her daughter in law because she is still recovering and her kids also feel the same and try to hide it but some how she gets to know he is cheating so when they gather to celebrate her birthday she gives them stern looks and looks like she is gonna leave the house but he tries to go after her and tries to reconcile with her.. but I hope she chooses dr.Roy 🙈

No the mother in law put the huge property under Dr. Cha’s name for tax purposes. She’s always treated her subhuman.

Then simply tell her in a nice way not to touch your things again. Why would you be rude about someone doing something nice for you even though you didn’t ask for it or like it. Just tell them you don’t like it and not to do it again in a calm way. You lot love sugar coating rudeness. I guarantee it was what she said to her previously that made her mad and not dr cha actually arranging her stuffs for her

It’s not about that she felt some type of way because cha told her the fault lies with hospital when the guy tried to commit suicide. Cha told her and requested for the psychiatry department to get involved and the girl didn’t listen. So she felt some type of way. Cha needs to stand ten toes down for herself in future episodes

I don't understand why everyone is calling the girlfriend as rude and insensitive. She is direct and doesn’t tolerate injustice. If its okay for girl to serve drinks then why its wrong in boy pouring a drink to his girlfriend ? She is good at job, doesn't tolerate wrong doings at job because superiors question her and she is responsible for her junior's mistake. If you observe starting episode she is very supportive of taking Dr.Cha under her wing and along with correcting she appreciates when Dr.Cha performes well. As Dr.Cha says whatever she says is correct.And here why all are calling a woman for saying right things is rude?

I wager it's because of the way she says it. As someone who worked a job where I had subordinates whose mistakes I was held accountable for, their making a mistake is not an excuse to start loudly screaming at them & moving my arms aggressively forward as if I was going to smack them or throw something at them. Some of my bosses when I went to inform them of my subordinate's mistake would act like this towards me (sometimes even more aggressively) which was very unproductive because it wasted precious time for us to hatch a game plan to reverse the mistake or for me to quickly get permission for what I already knew needed to be done.

In the real world many are or try to be like her, especially in the medical field. I work with many. However, that doesn't mean it's acceptable behavior and in many workplaces where there is a strong respect culture (VERY rare) she would get fired if using words such as 'idiot' or use of humilation in front of others, at least after a warning and then writeup.

It's the way it is said. You can reprimand people in the workplace and show your intolerance for certain mistakes without shouting and screaming and using degrading language and name calling. It's rude, end of story. You don't have to assert dominance in that way. What I will say though is that she does have good qualities that have been seen in several instances and I have seen her make an effort to commend Dr. Cha on a good job when she does it. And of course there is nothing wrong with the guy poruing the drinks but why couldn't she ask politely?

Please there’s a difference between being direct and just being plain rude and the girlfriend is rude! Stop sugar coating it, you can be strong minded and still be respectful but acting like the girlfriend is just plain rudeness and she 100% doesn’t have regard for anyone nor does she know how to speak to people.

I love her character, I don't agree with the comment section... she is really good with her family(grandmother) n loving towards boyfriend also good at work, n importantly she do not tolerate anything wrong.. I see a lot of comments saying Sora is rude and doesn’t deserve to get a partner like him. I notices people assume that when a character is not the ultimate nice girl, who is soft spoken or makes cute expressions rather a bit stern or “rude” in the way she speaks they are immediately considered head strong. I saw similar comments about Shin Mina’s character in Hometown Cha Cha Cha too. But what they’re failing to understanding is that some people just have different ways to express their feelings. For example, my mom doesn’t come off as the most gentle person in the that she speaks but almost everyone who spends some time with her says that she is the one of the most kindest and understanding person that they’ve ever met. Likewise, Sora may seem rude but I think she is quite understanding of others around her. 1. She was a bit stern towards Dr.Cha when she rearranged her belongings but sometimes when someone who you don’t know touches and changes the way you organise things could be irritating. Also, she could’ve been a bit nice. 2. Sora scolds Dr.cha’s son- People should understand that this is hospital setting and things are quite important 😅. She would rather teach him by scolding him than a patient after something wrong happens 3. Sora doesn’t want to do all the chores by herself. She want everyone involved in an activity like eating to actually share all the labour(cooking and cleaning) too. She doesn’t want to end up doing all the work by herself. Sora is a relatively new doctor and a boss, she still needs to learn how to be assertive and guide her sub ordinates in an encouraging way instead of just yelling at them( though sometimes yelling is required coz people’s lives are at risk)😅 *I hope you understand my perspective and opinion😊

I like the girlfriend's personality she does respect dr cha as she is younger than her but also scolds her as her senior. Overall she has a very reasonable approach to everything and im sure she will be nice to be with once they get close. But then again,i can understand Dr Cha's perspective too. For her, she's just a rude person who bosses her son around as she doesnt know the full context. But I think their relationship will grow further and they could become a sweet mother-daughter (in law) duos

I really don’t like this future daughter in law. There are ways to say things in a more professional way. I’m not saying she should pretend to be nice if that’s not who she is, but be professional at least. She’s one of the reasons people get stressed out at work.
