Hey, I live in an apartment suite which is located directly next to the broiler room where they have all the smart meters for the entire apartment. If I were to build a wooden frame around my bed, & attach double layers of aluminum screen around it, would it block out the emf coming from the smart meters & anywhere else? I'd also put emergency blankets on the floor of the bed to block out any emf coming from the ground up. So it was entirely a vacuum for emf radiation. Would it work?

*i love your mind, brother!!!!!!!* And i love how you considered ammo cans for portable Faraday Cages just like i did! XD Keep up the great work on these videos, especially emp protection. Such knowledge can not only save people money and hardship, but could definitely result in saving someone's life.

He says that it's important that there are no holes or pin pricks, but a Faraday Cage doesn't have to be a continuous material - it can be a mesh.
@MultiLisa103 жыл бұрын
But isnt there holes in mesh?
@1LRLRG10 жыл бұрын
Does a faraday cage need to be solid or could you use a wirre mesh construction.?
@SoundMediaVibes8 жыл бұрын
+1LRLRG - I don't think wire mesh would be suitable for high end electronics such as walkie talkie radios.

Just wonderful, I've been looking for "faraday screen" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you heard people talk about - Tennorra EMP Esterification - (do a google search ) ? Ive heard some amazing things about it and my friend got excellent results with it.

Many thanks, I have been researching "faraday cages for sale" for a while now, and I think this has helped. You ever tried - Tennorra EMP Esterification - (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now ) ? Ive heard some decent things about it and my brother in law got excellent success with it.

Maybe that guy's on the spectrum? It would explain the awkward chair spacing.

If I were to ground my 8'x9'x40' connex (shipping) container, would it act as a faraday cage and protect any electronics within it? Also does earth itself protect electronics from an EMP, lets say an underground storm shelter or bunker?

When I worked many moons ago at Zenith Corp. in Chicago the radio workers would work inside a copper screened room..!!
@edwardgaines65613 жыл бұрын
Copper...hmm so I can make a faraday cage our of pennies?
@gunzrloaded3 жыл бұрын
@@edwardgaines6561 If I knew more when I was younger...I would have stapled copper screen onto ceiling, walls and floor in bedroom before finishing room off ....turning the whole room into a Faraday cage.I believe in certain cinemas and theaters they use a paint that keeps EMF's out so cell phones,etc. won't work. Cheers...!!!

Do you think there are weapons that can be directed onto people that would do things to them that would do harm to people like cause vertigo?? and if so would a Faraday cage stop such a weapon??
@JodBronson5 жыл бұрын
Nothing can stop weapons! LOL

Does this mean radio waves,phone data and walkie talkies can't be used inside a faraday cage?

don;t understand still the mechanism of the faraday cage. ???
@SoundMediaVibes8 жыл бұрын
+Jiujun Tang - The EMP can't get in the cage, it just goes around it and then disperses.

What happens to the US power grids in the event of a massive EMP? You know the power grids that provide electricity to every outlet, every lightbulb and every electronic device in America.
@vincegredo7 жыл бұрын
To best answer that question I would suggest reading a book by the name of "One Second After" by William R Forestchen. It was cited on the floor of congress as a book every American should read and its about exactly what you describe. A massive EMP event striking America. From my personal perspective, I loved that book. it was a hell of a page turner.

0:42 the video starts here if you don't care about the history of Mr Faraday, and you just want the content described by the title.
@Kube_Dog7 жыл бұрын
You should listen and learn that he lived in the 18th or 19th century.
@jamiesmith42937 жыл бұрын
I already learned that before this video. I came here to skip over that information and learn about what the cage is, like the title suggests.

Thank you. It took me 3 seconds to scroll down and read this comment. The video took 2.5 seconds to rebuffer and this reply took 8 seconds to type. Your helpful comment saved me nearly 30 seconds. I'll use that time to eat a potato chip or two. Bless you.

A faraday cage cleared up my skin rash, I have EMF sensitivity, it's real
@blognewb8 жыл бұрын
How quickly?
@AnnaVOort8 жыл бұрын
Pin pricking left in 10 mins, rash noticeably healing after a few days, looking into shielding fabrics now - Itch flares up when I leave cage, gets better when I'm inside
@Merlin_Signus8 жыл бұрын
How did you use the cage? Did you buy one and sleep inside of one? OR? I am trying to figure out what it is like to sleep in one. Thanks!
@AnnaVOort8 жыл бұрын
I built a cube around my bed with it by folding the edges together and holding the top/ceiling part up with wire and ceiling hooks, sewed side panels with wire, staples. Used 1 roll of 36" mesh, single bed.
@Merlin_Signus8 жыл бұрын
Hmmm, I think I can visualize that. So 4 corners of your emf blanket were raised in the air by hooks in the ceiling and then it came down upon you like that? Or rather, wires with hooks at the ends, I mean. What side panels? Hmmm, hard to visualize, sorry! Can I ask you where you bought your fabric from? It's hard to say how some other fabrics perform, and your recommendation would be appreciated! I also have a skin rash! Off and on for 10 years! Seborrheic eczema, and dandruff occasionally. I got rid of it mostly through PEMF, getting total body sunlight, destressing, and essential oils! I'm not out of the woods yet though, but I am happy to see such results. Thanks again! :)
