I have a polydactyl cat. He has an extra toe on each paw… 22 toes. His name is Dax. Growing up, we had a polydactyl named Beezus that had about 26.

We went to Hemingway's house last year on a cruise -- it was fun checking out all the cats and looking for the polydactyl ones!!

We had an all back Norwegian forest cat with extra digits on the front paws. Man, could she climb - utterly amazing to watch her run up trees. Unfortunately, she disappeared on us when she was pregnant and we never found her again. RIP Tarzina

Have two of these six toes on all four paws. One thrown out as a kitten and one I rescued from a not so nice home. Absolutely wonderful friends.

Love your video. I have been adopted by Polydactyls for Decades and my second Quad-Polydactyl is living with me now. I was adopted by a Radial Hypoplasia kitten (didn't know what it was called back then) a long time ago and she grew up to be a very strong and fierce (in a good way) adult. Thanks for sharing.

My Sweets is a black cat & has one extra toebean on his front & back. I have to count when I clip his claws as I’ve missed one on a few occasions!

Reminds me of my baby Oliver! Had no idea he was a lil polydactyl until he was already home as his extra toes were dew claws on his hind legs and hidden by fur. Imagine my surprise when he's on my lap, we're playing and I gently tug on his hind leg and feel extra beans with claws, the surprise 😂

I have 2 polydactyl cats. A pure white one & his nephew that looks like a silver tabby, but he has 25 toes total.Not counting the 2 "dewclaws" I had the vet remove.

I have a cat with extra toes and she has a claw between toes on each front paw. It's extremely hard to cut, it's thick, and I'm not sure if it's hurting her. I worry about it a lot. I would never ever declaw my cat but I was wondering if declawing these specific claws between her toes would cause her any pain? Would it be helpful to her or would she be in pain? I have asked my vet and she didn't have answers. Any suggestions?
