Trim is one of the most useful tools at the pilot's disposal. It is sort of like power steering and cruise control combined into one. If you aren't yet using trim, then this video is for you!
Thanks for watching!

Great instruction Trent. Especially the autothrottle reference. As a jump seater, I have seen auto throttles move back and forth on Gulfstream jets many times on descent but never made the mental connection to pitch until I started flying myself. Great Example!!!

You did a much better job at explaining Trim than my instructor. I might need to attend your flight school😂

I’m the future you’ll notice how the trim moves as passengers walk up and down the airplane.

Elevator trim is known to keep a constant speed more than an altitude. If im trimmed and stabilized at 150 kts and I reduce power, I will still fly at 150 kts, but I'll start descending.

Fly the airplane manually first, no matter what phase of flight, then adjust the elevator trim, to reduce control forces so as to maintain the attitude you want (level flight, climb or descent). Also, much of what you explained during flight, could be better comprehended by the student, on the ground. Then, do minimal instruction while flying.
