So you see that filter part that you “ dont care for “? How do you take that off. Also how do you connect to the pail. When the filter is there it dosent even make sense. So when i get the filter off doni just connect to that brass port sticking out?

You connect the hose to the barb and take the filter off the hose.

@@DownSouthSoftwash more than likely you need to replace the xjet. The check valve failing is a rare occurrence on these

So you have to cut the hose every time you need to change the proportioning tip?

You don’t have to cut the hose; you can just wedge it back on in between swapping proportioners.

No, the tip goes in the bottom of the inlet barb to reduce the flow so you siphon less soap

I have 3100 psi 2.4 gpm. Which size would I need ? Is no 7 ok?

But my machine isn’t 3 or 3.5 gpm. I already made an order. Should I return 7 and get 9? Is that going to make a big difference?

I don't use the proportioners personally. What I do Is cut the bleach in half in the bucket and use the X-Jet unrestricted. If you have areas that are hard to clean like the top of a brick chimney then you want 12 percent straight bleach with no restriction on your X-Jet.
