Exactly. It's a characteristic that seeks control & power over others (domination) is a heavily male biased phenomenon. When men identify as women they don't automatically become passive and submissive (a socialised expectation women are raised to be). When those men transition to women, their psyche does not change. They remain largely narcissistic (the tendency to demand their personal fantasy should be recognised by others) with the need to dominate and suppress other females.

As a little kid I wanted to be a horse - a beautiful, spirited, swift horse. I used to PRETEND I was a horse. I'd run and buck and whinny and paw the ground, toss my head, snort and bolt away across the rangeland with my wild band of mares. Then my mother would call me in for supper and I'd turn into a human again. It was IMAGINATION. I was NOT a horse, I'd never been a horse and I never demanded anyone call me Man O'War or Trigger or Fury. So, as a little kid I was smarter than these grown men who PRETEND they are women, INSIST they are women - but they are MEN.

Because that's really what this is, making everyone play to a 24 hr. fantasy without asking people for consent. And if they say no? They try to ruin people's lives. A breath of fresh air, excellent! You mention the defence that trans men can make when challenged. This seems to illustrate a powerful internal conflict where something is valued and longed for but also rejected and feared, so any external intervention can provoke a very passionate and often violent reaction. Bringing such insight into consciousness could be very painful and confusing for them, so attack will tend to be the default position. There's a reason why we've looked down on and tried to minimize the effect of perverts on society. I'd say most people have a weird thing they like. Have the decency to keep it to yourself. If people find out we should be tolerant. But we should never have to say "Good for you!" when we know it's not.

As one of the 3% of men with autogynephelia, this is exactly how I describe it. I'm attracted to women, and for some reason I want to BE what I'm attracted to, which I acknowledge is weirdly narcissistic. And narcissism is the basis of evil.

@@cherkovision what you described there is envy. Envy is been sad at the sight of another's goods and having a desire to want it for oneself, even unjustly and wishing harm to another person for what they have. I think to become that which you like is a denial of the envy you have. Anyway, there is a remedy. Been charitable, in the sense of been happy for another's success, without having regard for yourself and been grateful for what you do actually have and been willing to share your goods, whether it be material things, skills, talents or your time. Envy is a dark place to be, been charitable and giving brings a person into the light.

@@outoforbit00 I know what envy feels like, and I know what autogynephelia feels like, so believe me that they are two completely different things. I desire to be physically fit, and I'm sometimes envious of those who are, but that's a very different feeling. When I'm envious, like you said, I feel negatively toward those who are physically fit and the thought of them failing at other aspects of life brings me pleasure. Autogynephelia, on the other hand, involves fantasizing about having a different body and taking pleasure in the fantasy. This doesn't involve any negative feelings toward anyone.
