Any tips for easily shifting over your passagio? A lot of songs I like are right on the edge for me and I find myself usually pushing my upper range downward cause I have a harder time shifting back into chest voice than shifting out of it. (Dua lipa’s training season for example)

The trick is to religiously do exercises that strengthens your head voice because head voice can go a lot higher than chest voice. When your head voice is as robust as your chest voice then when you move from chest to voice there is no audible noticeable difference to the average music listener. Vocal coaches can tell though. Then on top of that modifying vowels to switch registers also aids the shift as well as learning to mix chest and head voices playing percentages of how much chest voice and how much head voice you want to blend in your mixed voice. No amount of tips and knoweldge can do anything. You gotta do the hardwork to condition your voice daily, correctly and RELIGIOUSLY for months and years even. I know this from experience. You stop, you drop!

@@ThelSuperlKing I see where you’re coming from for sure but I have it the other way around haha. I’ve been singing exclusively in headvoice and pushing down my passagio but my chest voice is very weak and I struggle when I have to use it.

@@icyflame716 The gist of my post is no amount of tips or knowledge can fix it. You need to do the exercises to remedy your problem for a very long time. The longer the stronger and more adroit you will be. This is not a brain issue. This is a muscle issue and muscle coordination issue. It requires training not education.
