Hi Thomas, I'm struggling with alk right now, for some reason my RedSea alk B powder is not mixed correctly (i think), dosing brs 1ml doser according to RS directions? Liquid version worked perfectly with no drops, powder version seems like its barley working, any thoughts on this?

I really want to add an auto doser to my nano tank but I've heard so many horror stories and even seen first hand when they malfunction. 2 scary for me!

No doubt that bad things can happen, but most quality dosing pumps these days are very reliable. If you ever feel like automating your dosing, a single head BRS 1.1 ml dosing pump on a digital timer + Tropic Marin All-For-Reef might be a good option for you. Those pumps dose very slowly and aside from lacking a cool app like most of the dosing pumps these days, are some of the most reliable dosing pumps available.
