If you’re interested, set up a trading account with your bank (TD, BMO, CIBC etc) and the drip programs are free and no transaction fees!

Yeah definitely a good way to go. DRIPs provide an alternative for those currently using a platform with trading fees!

Yeah it’s great! I was setup with a drip for many years and it helped me get my portfolio going when I didn’t have tons of money to invest!

I'm sorry if you covered it, but is it possible to transfer a dividend or drip to a separate account? Say earning them in an RESP and having them deposited to a TFSA?
