I’m now 14, when I was 11 and 12 eczema covered my skin. Big bloody craters that hurt and spilled puss. I subconsciously scratched in my sleep. It was itchy all the time. My parents would constantly tell me to stop scratching but it’s impossible. People at school bullied. My eyes looked permanently half closed and I was so ugly. One day my mum said enough was enough and took me to a private hospital at the last lesson of school. The lady knew immediately what to do and proscribed me some strong steroid cream. I put it on, expecting it not to work like the endless list of other creams that I had tried. But it worked. I went downstairs to dinner the same day and my skin had completely cleared up. I was overwhelmed. Then I became addicted to the cream, and the results. I’m lucky now to only use the cream when I really need to, to avoid breakouts due to overuse. Be careful. Love yourself. It will get better.

Cortisteroids are not the cure. They come with serious lifelong consequences that lead to increased risk of autoimmune disease like arthritis and more sensitivity to allergans. You have to find the allergen. It take about two weeks for the skin to heal without the allergen. For me the trigger is all vegetable based soaps which is basically nearly all soaps and shampoos. I manage to find a coconut oil soap that doesn't trigger flareups and I've been eczema free for past 10 yrs with no drugs.

My 4 month old had a horrible flare up and let me tell you no cream helped, in fact made it worse. Thank goodness I’ve came across a blog and the lady’s baby had the same problem and what helped a ton is giving the baby a bath with 1/4 cup of vinegar ACV and don’t rinse it off! I also put 2 teaspoon of pure unrefined coconut oil in the tub. His skin cleared within 3 days. I highly recommend trying this solution. Let me know if it worked for you!

I am allergic to all vegetable oils soaps. It basically takes two weeks for the skin to heal. Usually it will itch really bad the 1st week and then gets better the 2nd weak. And yes lotions and creams makes it worse. If your baby doesn't get trigger by coconut oil, try a coconut oil based soap like Nurtiobolics brand. That is the only soap I can use although I never tried animal based fat soaps.

Great treatment for eczema: MootSkin.xyz I wouldn't suggest that anyone with eczema eat avocado! Maybe 🍅 tomatoes won't bother you but it's not like that for me. Learn about anti-inflammatory foods. Broccoli, 🍌 bananas, 🍍 pineapple, tart 🍒 cherries and 🍏 🍎 apples are a few of them. Steer clear of sugar and processed foods, peanuts, peanut butter and citrus fruits. Lemon is ok. I use Stevia in the tart cherries. Stay away from vegetable oil, peanut oil, corn oil, safflower and 🌻 sunflower oils.

I have horrible Eczema. I tell myself that I am just like other people, but then I notice some people staring and I have to remind myself that people are wondering what it is. and are either concerned or disgusted. I have it on my neck and it bleeds, and some people have called me inappropriate names because I've heard that it looks like hickies. People think that it is contagious, but it is not and they at times tease. They don't seem to realize that none of my friends have it even though I am in physical contact with them at times. If you do not put cream on it before bed, when you wake up you might not be able to stretch out your arm (or your legs) if it was bent while you were sleeping or else if you do try to stretch it the skin will tear. It is very uncomfortable to sleep, and you will get sweaty and it will irritate the skin. Some of my family see me itching like crazy until I bleed and they tell me to stop, but they also need to understand that it itches so much. They get mad at me saying that I don't put enough cream on, but the cream is clearly not helping me in any way. Eczema causes some peoples self-esteem to go down. Anything will irritate it. At times when I take a shower the water somehow burns. When air hits it has a chance of feeling uncomfortable. There are some foods you can't eat or you will flare-up. If you stress it will cause you to flare up. Some fabrics against it will irritate it and cause it to itch. If you don't have eczema, I want to let you know that you are so lucky.

for me, I OVERATE and ate extremely fast with large volumes of food. As a result it caused "intestinal permeability" or "leaky gut syndrome" by the food literally expanding my digestive tract. I had terrible, terrible skin issues, that dermatologists called 'ezcema' or 'acne'. The solution? I ate a lot slower and listened to my body and ate less food and I started releasing gas like no tomorrow. I have literally felt parts of my intestines pop in, and the severity of my problems we're in direct correlation to how much my intestines we're shrinking. I had an extreme case (I ate way too much) but it is a spectrum and I think a lot of people might have the same thing just not as severe.

Will 100% coconut oil work on the cheeks of a four month old?
@CarolFraserNutritionist
@CarolFraserNutritionist 4 жыл бұрын
Try using organic cold pressed coconut oil on one cheek first it could help and would certainly do no harm. Some people say they find it a little drying, others have great success. I tend to add shea butter and use raw organic ingredients to avoid irritation. It certainly helped my daughter and with a few changes to her diet she has overcome eczema and by using using my handmade plant-based cream it cleared up all the symptoms. I support people on my facebook eczema support group and working with a breastfeeding mother who's child has eczema. You are most welcome to join if you wish.

@TheThreeMountains
@TheThreeMountains 4 жыл бұрын
@@grrr13131 you drink it! Start with one drop of iodine in a glass of water the first day. Then, increase to two drops after 2 days and like this, go increasing the amount of drops until you see the eczema starts to dry... My son reached 3 drops and I kept the amount to 3 drops as it was enough to see the effects! I'm not sure how many drops an adult needs! Iodine has no contraindications so you can drink as many drops as you need! You need to see the eczema starts to get dry and normal skin comes back. All the best!
