A friend was going to see it for a second time today. He really talked it up so I went. I knew nothing going into it and was not disappointed. Amazing

I'm just hoping that, if there is a sequel, Godzilla fights another monster. Outside of anime and shorts Toho have been dead set against it.

Yeah, if it's handled well, I'd definitely be interested. A proper take-two on the idea of following up something like that with a movie where monsters fight, like Raids Again. I'd kinda like to see them finally use Bagan for that, personally

As someone who knows little to nothing about Godzilla I found this video very informative on a few things. Saw the film tonight it was really good.

I don't know, this works as its own film totally unrelated to everything else and you could say that it mostly just has a lot of nods to the original But, This feels a lot like a remake in many ways. It's just telling a much more personal character-driven story at the base of it Either way it kicked ass

Yeah, I thought it was really incredible! Easily in the top three best Godzilla films, for my money.

Indeed but this video is mainly aimed at more casual fans of the series/people who might have only heard about it recently. There were people who thought Godzilla 2000 was a sequel to 98, afterall!
