SSC Napoli were celebrating their first league title in 33 years just 6 months ago. Now, they are on their third manager in that same time frame, and it’s not just anyone: Walter Mazzarri. After Rudi Garcia was sacked, Napoli’s former manager in Mazzarri will take over, as Napoli are quite literally going backwards.
Mazzarri’s time with SSC Napoli went quite well: he won a cup, and he brought the club to the Champions League for the first time with the likes of Marek Hamsik, Edinson Cavani and Ezequiel Lavezzi. There are hopes that despite his poor showings at Watford, Cagliari and Torino, Mazzarri can rekindle his magic from the old days with Napoli.
But why are Napoli struggling? Why was Rudi Garcia sacked? Why did Spalletti leave Napoli in the first place? All of this answered in the video.

Napoli should bring the sporting director or whoever scouts players in Lecce, it may not be noticeable right now, but they bought a lot of players for really cheap that are actually really good or at the very least very competitive, Almqvist, Krstovic, Banda, the left back who is 19 years old I think, Baschirotto, etc. very interesting players and the reason they have stayed in first division and even doing really well at the start of this season

I'm from Bensonhurst Brooklyn born and raised Napoli fan i was born in December of 87 and i still have pictures of me as a 2 year old in my Nonnas arms celebrating the 89-90 scudetto i wish her and my dad had been here to celebrate last seasons scudetto hopefully Luciano Spalletti can bring the Azzurri 🔵 back even though we won the euros missing 2 WC is unacceptable but we absolutely miss him at Napoli as shown by our 10 point deficit to Inter i still believe in this team though forza napoli

As an Inter fan, I wish Mazzarri the best of luck. He did a good job with us taking probably the worst teams in the last 30 years and was sacked and replace with Mancini wich did way worse than him with a bigger budget to spend in the market. Now I think Mazzarri's football is a nit outdated but I think he can do a good job till the end of the year.

Lindstrom is the classic situation of bad management, plus, he's playing out of his role which is more attacking midfield than wing. We need wings, badly. Cajuste seems to play anonymous because the rest of the squad is playing really bad. Natan is injured now (shoulder injury) and he will come back around February 5. They make no pressing once the ball is lost and that is unacceptable, totally. This season we are facing a mentality and motivation issue, for sure. Let's see at the end of January when all the winter arrivals are set and ready. Napoli need to set a new midfield and an extra frontman, a decent center back that can guarantee more covering.

Very accurate video! Napoli talk as always nails every point. Garcia is the worst manager if ever seen at Napoli. Fellow Napoli fans can agree, the worst thing about him was mostly the fact his tactics were inconsistent and confusing. Players clearly had no clue what their tasks were, and we looked lost all the time. We’d be stuck relying on individual brilliance often times to win us games. Realistically we should be much lower in the league standings as well as the UCL

I was fairly sure last season that Napoli were just a flash in the pan. There were some pundits and analysts making preposterous claims that the Napoli 2022/23 side was one of the best in the history of Serie A 🤣🤣🤣 not a chance! They didn't go unbeaten like Juventus in 2011/12, nor were they anywhere near Inter 2009/10! For goodness sake, they were outsmarted and outplayed by AC Milan, who had 36 year Old Olivier Giroud playing up top in the UCL. They also lost a game at home 4-0... They'll lose Osimhen, and it's entirely the club's fault.
