Do you think Transformers: Reactivate will be at Summer Games Fest this year?

Ngl im patiently waiting for reactivate. I honestly want the bare minimum for a transformers game. As long long as I can transform and shoot I'm chillin 💀. Ik that's a low bar but I love transformers and I'm dying for new content.

All i can say is the base game is done and they are focusing on post launch content and bug fixes at the moment. Right now, internally there is a date set on their calender for the release of this game so all we gotta do is keep waiting

one thing we should be mindful of is that we all know what happens to games that are rushed by fans. they end up coming out unfinished and buggy, and in some cases, such as rdr2, they have a HUGE amount of content removed to get the game out sooner. we should 100% just wait for it to come out, otherwise we'll end up regretting it, even if the devs are radio silent. after all, a game is capable of thousands of hours of fun when done right, so i think we can all agree to risk a couple of months for what could be a long-lasting game.

i truly hope we get something for Reactivate.

I agree with you saying they announced the game way to early just for them to be radio silent for 4 months but here’s hoping it’s worth the wait

Showing pictures of developments is like reveal a movie, your gonna know most of what the game has to offer and that kinda drain the motivation out of some people, but that’s just me

At 2:45 of the video, you said Splash Damage might be gearing for a possible release date in 2063. I think you meant 2024 or 2025.

I'm not worried about TF reactivate and do be honest I was even too cared about it because of what happened with TF Universe because it got pushed back 3 times and each time was a year so it got pushed back 3 years of it's original released date and when it did come out it was only out for like barley a year or even a year. On top of that when it did come out it need a lot of work on it still.

even tho there's a VERY dedicated community that would support this game when it comes out, they NEED to advertise this game a ton when it releases, far too many times game devs under advertise or don't advertise at all and the game bombs cause no one heard about it. I wouldn't even know about this if I didn't actively search for new transformer games, but that's cause I'm a big fan! what about people who aren't? or who don't look for transformers games, these guys NEED to advertise if they want a game that lasts long

I read the confidentiality agreement of splash damage, if a project is leaked, law enforcement will be able to apply for it, so there is nothing for now.

I dont think any TF game could compete with the high noon games for me purely based on nostalgia. So im not hoping for too much with this game, more so something i can enjoy in my free time and not take up much of my life like i wouldve done with destiny or the divison back in the day.

From what I can gather it seems that the project made a shift in engine. They are switching to unreal engine 5 which would mean that all their current staff would have to learn the new engine. On top of that, the job listing is probably looking for people who have expertise in unreal engine. The beta is set to be in 2024 which sounds about right. Switching engines is good for the long haul. Most people in the game industry is using unreal engine 5 making it a lot easier to hiring new developers as they don’t need to learn a new engine

Ultimately I feel like the game is being perfected. The reason for massive hiring maybe due in part to poor results of the old team and is now working on making it better. So while we wait. The silence of the company mat mean that we have nothing to say. Instead of giving Us a report that things are coming along. And honestly are not. They stay silent to not make false statements. They don't actually have to tell us anything. Honestly I feel that's the best way to deal with this. Show , don't tell.

Idk about some of the Voice Actors and I think it’s gonna end up like Suicide Squad.

It might be for the best they just announce they delay for another month or two, I don’t mind if they release it now or next month but the thing to maybe worry if they did is the Marvel Rivals beta and Multiversus might be in the way so this might be a good thing for the moment.

The issue I can see (assuming that it isn't in dire trouble) from here on in is when it does drop there will have been no feedback to improve the details which make all the difference. The first descendant is about to go into it's second public beta and the improvement in the game through continual public feedback has been obvious and extensive. There are a few stellar 3rd person loot/shooters coming out and if the game launches behind these with bugs and annoying preventable problems many people won't hang around on it while they fix it ( which going by their form to date will a while). I want this game to be great but I am dialling back my expectations- if it launches polished and superior to other new titles great, but I am not holding my breath coz I need some oxygen.

The copium is crazy bro. The fact that it's WAY off on release is already a red flag in of itself and pretty much confirms development hell, regardless of the actual reasons behind it. Also I'm sorry, but your reasoning for justifying the job postings does not make sense from a business point of view. It costs money and resources to keep hiring new help for the game which means it is just costing them more and more in the long run. For something that should have had a beta months ago, it's extremely concerning to see them still hiring for development. I'm still hoping for the best for this game, but you'd be in denial to not think something is going wrong.
