Today's video is a look inside my main mic box. I don't keep every last mic I own in the same case, but I do keep the main mics I use at every gig in the same case... and this is that case. I also keep some DI's in the workbox, so there are always plenty of DI's around for any surprises that might pop up on gig day. Beyond that, as mentioned in this video, I have another case that is more dedicated to DI's which is where the "rider DI's" live, and also where mics that don't necessarily fit in mic holes live. Large diaphragm mics, B98 mics, a Shure SM91, a second B52, a couple of AKG D112 mics, etc... But that case only goes to gigs where I know I need some of that stuff via tech riders and show advances. Sry, but I can't find any information that the beyer M88 is a ribbon mic! It's a dynamic microphone. However...do you have any ribbon mics that you use live? Cause Ribbons can easily get destroyed especially live on stage.
