my second comment because i was thinking of the things Laura said in the video this morning about their start of Garden Answer, and it occurred to me that Aaron should get some sort of "smartest husband of the year (or longer)" award.... he's the FIRST guy that's figured out: "hey, there is no way i can prevent my wife from buying plants, plants, and more plants, so i'm gonna come up with a way to make a living out of this!" and by golly, he did!! congratulations on your million subscribers again!!! :)

Isn't that the truth! In my house whenever I come back from the garden center I always say..."I wasn't looking for this but look at how gorgeous it is! How could I say no?!" I saw on one of her recent videos that someone sent a plaque stating "planting a garden is believing in tomorrow" or something like that and it is so true! Plants to give us joy for days and years to come! Laura and Aaron are constant inspirations to us all!

I don't know how much you guys earn, but that is the operative word. You EARN it. You deserve it. You share with your friends and loved ones. You do a service to all of us that watch because you teach us so much. I do not know where you get your energy from. I know I don't have it in me but thankful for people like you guys. If my budget wasn't so tight, I'd absolutely pay to see you monthly. Don't change. I love your down to earth ways and your love for your family (including the four legged ones). our dutch town in iowa gave tulips to nursing homes because we couldn't have 200,000 people come to see them. it was so nice for the residents in the homes

Roxanne B , ditto, from another fellow Canadian, 🇨🇦zone 6 (US zone 5) ! Early retiree then 2 weeks later pandemic lockdown, and full days in the garden as soon as I was able to get my spade into the soil. I get my morning lessons from Laura and Aaron and then I go to it! I’m sure most of my neighbours are wondering, ‘what gives?’ ...as they have seen major cleanup in my gardens that I only had time for probably twice a month, when I was working full time , and when I found time on weekends (and weather dependent). I keep on saying that Proven Winners needs to give Laura and Aaron extra compensation as I particularly source out PW plants and shrubs.

Roxanne B , yes I’m already planning for next year but my chores involve moving hydrangeas and heucheras from pots into the ground, cutting down two old bushes (done) and dividing some perennials.I did plant three new shrubs so I am excited for next spring already. It’s going to be a long winter!

I remember watching one of your old house videos, right before you moved. You said something about not bringing the sad orphan plants home from Andrews anymore in your new space and I couldn’t help but laugh. I always think about your mashed up hydrangeas and the other little scraggly friends that have popped up in the new space. AMAZING!! A million viewers, such a great accomplishment! Proud of you guys! So fun to be here weekly and daily especially! Such a treat, learned so much! The out of breathiness is because your blood plasma volume is increased by 40-50% and RBC's 20-30% occurs during 2nd trimester which you're in. Just take it easy, walking and talking will be tough.

I love this channel for so many reasons. You are my main source is garden knowledge and the reason why I know have a beginner garden which I'm so thankful for. I agree with you that lighting is SO important to a cozy look. I love having my outside lights on because it looks so welcoming, but in the summer it is so hard to keep the area around the lights clean. The spiders build webs because they know all the other bugs are coming. Do you have that problem? By the way, congrats on 1M!

I used to be not very fond of yellow flowers until I saw one of our park spaces plant a wild flower-esque area with three flowers that were bright red, gold and blue. It was astonishingly beautiful and completely changed my outlook on flower colors. No clue what the flowers were since it was long before these videos! :)

We froze outside last night in northern South Dakota. I covered some tomato plants but pretty much everything is done. Seems so early but my husband is happy that the corn will be ready to be combined earlier! Windy and cold! 27 degrees is what I saw at 2 am this morning!

Yes, the wind is the worst! We have wind season from October till May here, and it really makes ya crazy!!

Oh, my goodness! I don't know that I could stand that wind! How anything survives it is totally amazing! I see that fly bothering you. I can so relate! I have one in the house right now I can't get to sit still long enough to get rid of.

I am in Iowa. We were very lucky at our house and had very little damage but the area around Cedar Rapids is still devastated and people are still struggling. The people of Iowa rally around our neighbors and even though I am a native Iowan I am always still amazed at how we take care of each other. As bad as the derecho was at a category 2 hurricane levels I feel so horrible for anyone caught in the recent hurricane (that was poorly named in my opinion ;-) at level 4 winds that lasted for hours instead of minutes. I can't even imagine that level of devastation.
