What Is It Like To Own A Porsche GT3 RS?

The 991 Porsche GT3 RS is the ultimate 911 right now, the hardcore track monster that defines the sports car lineup. This car sits with Porsche royalty, like the Carrera GT, or the 918 Spyder, or the 911R, or the GT2 RS, or a 993 Turbo S. The hard part is that these things are essentially a quarter million dollars, meaning few people will ever be able to afford and own one. But! You can watch this video to learn what it is like to own one, which will lead you to wanting one, and working hard to buy one some day. That is my plan :P

Its amazing to go back to these videos and hear people talk about future prices of the car. Now 4 years from new this car is worth 160k max. (60% of its original sticker + the 40k markup they were talking about.

yo Eddie I think you should discuss the reliability of the car in this kind of videos, like ask the owner was there ever a mechanic problem or electric system error since they start owning the car. People who own these kind of cars probably don't care about the service and repair fee, but it would be really nice if they are willing to let others know a bit about the reliability of different exotic cars. thanks

I am curious what the knock is on the Huracan? I have a 2016 GT3 RS and am adding to the stable a 2017 Avio edition. the 458 and Huracan might have more production numbers but feel of each car and how they are setup are very different. For me, the differences are apparent between my RS and my GT4. Different cars doing different things.

Just sold my 991 turbo S for this car. It takes a lot of car ownership wisdom and tune with one's self gratification cues with disregard to ego and bragging right to be comfortable buying one. There is simply no substitute. Unfortunately for your friend, these cars are already trading at or below MSRP. Tell him to just put the damn miles and enjoy it.
