This is my favorite striking sport! I wish I had more of a following in the US. They used to air the World Letwei Championship. But unfortunately, it didn't last long on Fight Pass. I would like to see its popularity translate to all parts of the world.

I love this channel a lot. I am almost a year into muay thai training, and this channel has really helped me grasp a lot of the culture. Your interviews with fighters and instructors are great and fun videos like this are a great way to learn about similar and very different martial arts on a surface level.

Thailand based Muay Thai coach here. I have one active fighter from Myanmar, I also see other fighters from there weekly, training and fighting. The main thing I see in fighters from Myanmar irrespective of which combat sport they are in is that they have this insane resilience which makes them very dangerous pressure fighters. Lethwei without points system is basically organised pressure fighting as it’s the only way to cause the type of knockout needed to win. The time my guy fought another guy from Myanmar was insane level of pressure both ways from the first bell. Awesome channel btw. Keep up the great work.

I love letwei But more for brutality and they have crazy pain threshold these guys are toughest around
