When King John signed Magna Carta in 1215, he was responding to the demands of rebellious barons. Over the centuries, however, Magna Carta has become a cornerstone of Western legal thought.

I am related to the King John of the Plantegenet dynasty. 1051 A.D. connection, maternal connection through Bertha Savoia, Daughter of Odo count of Savoy married to Holy Roman Emperor Henry 4th.

You need to check your dates. The Plantagenet dynasty in England began in 1154 with Henry II, John was his youngest son and king 1199-1216
