I've owned the Spyderco Bushcraft UK for years and it's the most comfortable knife I have ever used. I also like the sheath a great deal.

My journey brought me to the Mora Garberg the last couple years and I haven't departed from there yet. Does everything I need and nothing I don't. I cut some horizontal grooves in the back and front of the handle for extra grippiness but other than that no complaints. I've considered others, I may buy a Terava Jaakaripuukko and give it a go though.

My favorite knife is a Gerber Silver Knight with green checkered scales (it's a folding pocket knife). They went out of production years ago so mine now stays locked up. I carried it for many years. It's been replaced by a Gerber LST (it's no where near as nice but it gets the job done). My current favorite bushcraft knife is a Condor Hudson Bay. It's a beast. Practically a Matchette.

Excellent choice friend,Gerber has always made excellent cutlery!!! But I prefer the Buck folding hunter!!!!! It's a shame and I'm truly sorry they no longer manufacture your little friend!!! Have you ever seen a Buck Kalinga???

I didn't know the spyderco bushcrafter existed until now. If you get the chance, check out the Casström number 10 - amazing handle.

Nice collection. Might have to pick up the Spyderco. I have several ESEE, Fällkniven, Mora, Busse, Ontario, Cold Steel, ZT/Zero Tolerance, Tops… but honestly my favorite bushcraft/survival knife is the Condor Bushlore. Which is surprising as most of my knives are twice, three-times as expensive. Great knife, great sheath. Can’t recommend it enough.

Nice collection, buddy. I've a few myself, and I have you say I have my Kansbol in the kitchen, and I use it for everything. I love my little casstrom woodsman, but it's purely for bushcraft no good at all for food prep. .....nothing wrong with buttoning as long as it's within the knifes capability, too small for an axe and you want to make some dry feathers. I never carry an axe anymore.

i'm still ashamed i called my "clip point dagger" a bushcraft knife lol., but, in my defence, i never really carved anything, i use it to batton mostly, when i go out to bushcraft.. but it would'nt be really great for carving.. well enough about my mistake 😉 Thanks for sharing your bushcraft knive collection with us chosing your favorite is like faling in love, you dont always have to know why., but it sure is love

Some lovely knives there Wooly .It's very easy to fall down that "Rabbit hole" of knife collecting!! I've a Stephen Wade Cox bushcraft knife that I bought years ago, way before he started making them for Ray Mears . It's still going strong great wee knife...(poor man passed away just as he started making them for Ray Mears) I've got into trying to make them myself now!!

I've battoned firewood for years without ever encountering an issue. If affordable knives like the Terävä's and Mora's can handle battoning. I don't see how a company can justify calling a knife that wouldn't be able to handle battoning a bushcraft knife.

kephart knife is a smaller version of a butcher knife. started with the fur trade. their knives were fairly big
