I could watch your haircare videos for hours. I never had good results with using oils pre shampoo, so I might try a store bought one. 🥰

That means a lot to me! Thank you! And that’s definitely a good idea. I never moticed a big difference using just oils either, unless it was coconut oil. I find a store bought pre-poo mask just makes it easier and works better.

I find that silicone-free conditioners and masks leave my hair dry. I like the idea of the natural, organic products with all the lovely ingredients but they leave my hair dry.

Silicone-free doesn’t work for everyone! I would always recommend silicone-free in shampoos as it could cause build-up. But other than that, if silicones are used correctly they can have great benefits. One just always has to remember that they seal your hair, so you have to apply a moisturizing product before applying anything with silicones so you don’t seal in dryness, if that makes sense. I personally have a mixed haircare routine, some products without silicones, and some with. They definitely help me retain my length better.
