My understanding of design is that if I use cyllinder put it beneath heel-arch foot part it will reduce shock impact from weight , from hip over knee to ankle and thereby enable fingers to land soft. Many runners claim that cushion under " foot cheekbones" -that is middle to front striking surface- is where they want it. But we can test that like form of heelless imitation. Put cyllinder foam under that part and try to run..not only you deform geometry of foot but all ligaments above. Another thing. Nike in Infinity run 1 and 2 uses that rocky shape that slows down speed but protects runner from injury with that "RA-ship " arc that with arch of the foot makes circle(sphere). Like using tennis ball to relax Achilles in therapies. As customer and entusiast that is in science of things I would prefer those innovations that claim not 500 miles or kilometers range but half of year of 6 day a week halfmarathons as atest as some parameter to how good product is. Also I would like to tell that it would be nice to finally write a book on how shoe is designed, (meta)materials and infusion techniques, all that knowhow..in order to use that capacity that we or some of us have to improve running experience, share ideas. Not that i would steal idea or make my own company even if I would have that much money. I am about minimalism, which is godlike character. I live my life to do something that would use nothing to balance world I leave in beauty, knowledge, perfect natural gyro balance as God would like. Bubble or arc support is the key. With certain materials to make thin, low weight , music of spheres (ViviAni intersection of sphere and cyllinder... 0 as wave and 8 as particle , twisted light, like Nike air zoom bubble idea, screw, ribosom..). Creat-ion and des-tru-ct-ion, tribological friction and sound( heat produced.. certain foams can lose form under heat, drying on radiator), ...It is interesting challange.

The problem with the Endorphin Prius that it has 21st century but 20th century upper and last. I loved the cushion but overall hated the shoe.

So much gimmick nonsense in this video and running marketing in general. Saucony acting like they invented something here, when they just their foam from the same suppliers as everyone else. Nike was first to use this stuff in their running shoes, and it's not like Nike invented the stuff or produces it either. It comes from Arkema in France or Shincell in China. Saucony makes fines shoes but all the bs marketing in running shoe world is way out of control.
