I think your assessment has been the most straightforward one I've watched. You connect the motorcycle to your riding desires and don't fall into the sort of "what if" holes a lot of others have in regard to the Himalayan. Where some instantly want to transform it into a different motorcycle, your approach is to accept it as it is. I purchased my 2022 Himalayan in January. I loved the Granite Black version. And pretty much all of the colors. I chose Pine Green because it looks so different than anything I've seen. It's been cold and snowing since I bought the bike. Central Pennsylvania winters can be rough, and even when there's not snow on the road there's always ample salt and grit to mess things up. I've made a couple videos riding here in the cold but can't wait for things to melt and dry out in the mountains so I can ride the Himalayan in the places for which I chose it. Thanks again for sharing your enthusiasm. I'm a lot older than you but my excitement seems the same!

I picked mine up in November and love it.. Going to do the Transamerica Trail but have to do it on sections. Ride up from Florida, ride 3-4 days on the trail, ride back. Repeat. Starting 3/9 going to Damascus. If you're interested it would be a fun trip

I want a Himalayan for exploring/camping/leisure in the UK. I like the pine green camo, but this black one also looks fantastic. They're all nice colours, which makes choosing all the more difficult.

RE are known for affordability, reliability and great gas mileage. Your Black Himalyan looks very cool.

The only thng that bothers me about this bike is that the service/oilchange intervals are pretty short. Other than that. it is a terrific inexpensive bike

Awesome! I should be there hopefully in the very near future. I’m taking the permit, and then a Motorcycle class thing. And once that happens I’ll be heading to you guys. I sat on a Royal Enfield Himalayan and It was definitely higher than I thought. But it’s almost like I want to force myself to get it haha I sat on the 2022 granite black as well.

That's a fun bike and you'll get use to it quickly... Please, talk to the camera more often, you did great... Tag lines are good, just have to pick the right one.

If you have not purchased any bags for your bike, take a look at Giant Loop. Especially their Great Basin bag. It’s soft luggage and will work on any bike.

Nice bike, I would not mine one, if had a garage to keep it, no room with my current bike and not giving up her up she more for cruising and touring which I do more of than Adventure bike riding.

That Himalayan is actually the Euro 4 2021 version I have the euro 5 version which is the 2022 version also in Granite black. The way to tell is the Catalytic converter is on the vertical part of exhaust tubing. Nice bike all the same. Enjoy your new bike.
