IMO there's Only 2 accounts to choose, $25K is best value but $50K provides a little more safety from hitting the trailing stop so I always go with $50K! Anything above $50K makes absolutely no sense when looking at trailing stop to profit target to withdrawal maximums! I just paid myself $14,300 on 8 $50K accounts which is also my final month of withdrawals to now take out whatever I want! I now have 13 Pro Accounts, 7 avals, and I plan to be funded on All 20 by end of March!

I'm very close to passing 6 $50k accounts with one scalping strategy I use, plus a 7th account I tried trading with bigger targets that now needs reviving by switching over to my scalping strategy on that one too. The key to prop trading (on the eval accounts), in addition to good position sizing, is not trying to hit home-runs, but to grow small wins with a high probability of hitting the target before either hitting stop-loss or retreating back toward breakeven before hitting the target. Once eval accounts are passed and a cushion is built in to rid yourself of trailing stop-loss, then it's possible to confidently go for higher targets, while position sizing should always be kept to a manageable level for any of it to work.

Mathematically the 25 k is the best has a 1 to 1 dd to profit ratio and the withdrawal on the when funded is 1600usd eith a 50k its 2600 thats 500 usd more and the higher the account the percentage in draw down goes up..

Hello Forrest ! Your videos are amazing. I have a query. I currently bought a 50k challenge account. If I pass the evaluation phase and moving to PA account, do they reset the stats or I can maintain the equity which I have gained in my evaluation phase? Thanks in advance!

They reset your account after you pass so it’s kind of two phases in that regard

Thank you for the very detailed information. I was looking at the 50K but was curious about the 75K as well. Any reasons why you wouldn't recommend the 75k if it gives you a little better r/r? Other than maybe the profit target being a little higher. If this my first prop firm, would you still recommend loading 5-10 accounts?

Nevermind, I see now how little bit of an extra drawdown it gives compared to the profit target lol. I guess I was focused on the amount of contracts. As far as Rithmic and Tradovate, any big difference or preference?

The sooner you get out of the drawdown the more comfortable you will feel with your trades. 50k is good plus the give you a 10 mini contract max its very good. No restrictiona like top steps. First 25k is 100 % yours. I think apex is the best

Stop and TP should always be based on the trade thesis. Using something standard will just result in trades getting stopped out for no reason and tricking yourself into thinking you have good risk management

This was my first futures account. I bought the 300k. First I failed because I come from forex and took me a few days to really understand trailing DD. I then passed in 2 days with very low risk. 28 trades, 22 wins, 6 losses (78% win rate). My stop losses were between 500-900 bucks. Biggest win $5200, biggest loss around $950 I was a part of 1 day pass promo so I luckily got the account right away. I want to learn more! On how to approach it best so I can be consistent with those rules

Hi. How did you find the transition? I realised I like Nasdaq and currently trying to pass a challenge with a prop firm mainly for forex, so I’m trading NAS as CFD. Is it worth moving onto the Futures trading and look into Apex instead?

@@japanluv it all the depends on your personal preference to be honest! Trailing drawdown can be helpful to some and make them better like myself for others it may not align with their strategy. The transition was great am I glad I gave up currency pairs my win rate went up significantly! I don’t have many charts on my watchlist anymore and if you like Nas then I would recommend futures for sure

Order type has nothing to do with it, you are probably just chasing and going long at the top and short at the lows. Do the opposite

Just blew my 3rd 250K. I can't believe I'm just now realizing how much harder the 250k account is. Here's the kicker. I have 2 active 25k PA accounts. Would've had more by now for sure. So, why haven't I been doing what worked? IDK. I saw something shiny & new I guess. Anyway, typing all this to say I'm going back the smaller accounts. Less stress and I don't have the tendency to gamble. If I don't stick to this, someone please smack me. Thanks in advance.

The static account is good too. Make 400 dollars using micros then trade 2 contracts on minis.. u have 1000 dollars drawdown .if you go pass that the rest is history

I trade on ninja trader. Tradovate is totally fine though, a lot of our community uses it :) I personally think web based brokers are a bad idea@@sacr4450
