Spider-Man 3 is better than a lot of people claim it is. BUT to say Avengers doesn’t hold up is WILD. I literally re watched that last night and it’s still a blast. Wife and I still get chills at certain scenes like it’s the first time watching it. That is not a hot take, that’s a bonkers take

Hearing about the Peaky Blinders movie from my favourite podcast makes the announcement even better. My best friend and I are 100% going on opening night I can’t wait! Alex’s love for BvS but hatred for Man of Steel makes my brain hurt. How do you think this is the best Batman, when it’s the worst iteration? Because it’s JUST LIKE Superman in Man of Steel. They both arent true to their comic characters, but they are both unique to Snyder’s version. Batman does little to NO logical detective work AND murders no problem; that’s not Batman. Superman allows Metropolis to get destroyed and even contributes to it as well with Smallville; that’s not Superman. (I love both of these movies btw)

Very excited for the Peaky Blinders movie but I am bummed that it's a Netflix movie. It's not gonna feel like much more than a TV movie, and the way Steven Knight had been talking about it, I'd really been hoping it would be a big studio worldwide release in theaters. @@TheEscapePodPodcast I mean it depends of their contexts and I’m good with them tbh. Think about it like this, remember the scene in Civil War where Tony recreates his last time with his parents. He says “That’s how I’d wish it happened”. In BVS’s case, Clark thinking what Jonathan Kent would’ve said if he was still alive it’s a really nice way to demonstrate that he really misses him. And that’s literally the last line in that scene, he says “I really miss you dad.” I Don’t really know if the theatrical cut has less dialogue but in the Ultimate Edition it’s a really emotional moment and I dont have problems with a character that needs to express themselves in such manner considering the circumstances that Clark was in that moment. In Knightmare’s case, well it’s all what was about to happen in the SnyderVerse down the line and again, I have no problems with it considering that it was supposed to be explained and ZSJL helped by adding more context to those future sequences.
