I really want you to know that this video randomly playing... accomplished a life goal of mine. 15 years ago I always wanted to be able to swing a yo-yo around to ride on the string. I practiced with the wrong yo-yo not knowing any better. So of course it never worked. 15ish years later I see this video.. ordered the "wrong" yo-yo from you because I ordered the Horizon thinking it was responsive. To get an unresponsive yo-yo to come back up, you have to accomplish my childhood goal... After 15 minutes I realized I bought the right yo-yo. Thank you so much, this childhood goal was easily achieved because of your videos. I'm looking forward to buying different yo-yos from your website.

That's one thing I like about YoyoTricks. They focus more on the playing aspect and less on the buying aspect of yoyoing. As much as I like seeing the great diversity of yoyos available these day, I think that so many models only make choosing one harder. So it's nice to see a shop that selects only a handful of models that suit specific needs. I'll definitely recommend your website to new players I encounter! Focus less on collecting and more on playing guys!

In a game called terraria there's a yo yo called the terrarian. I find it interesting that there's actually one called the terrarian in real life (High end yo-yos category). Then again, all the yo-yos in that game seem like they're based on real ones. I find that interesting

Even though I am an beginner, I am glad that I skipped all the beginner yoyo's and paid over $100 to buy your highly-recommended iYoYo Steel. I get a better first impression of any sport, when I start with the best equipment. The learning curve hasn't been so bad. I've already gotten my hundred dollars worth of enjoyment out of my $100 yoyo, and I am still at it.

First of all, I love your videos (so keep up the great work). Anyways, I have a sage yoyo and I was thinking of getting the dv888 pro pack so I could upgrade to a metal unresponsive yoyo. My sage does not spin that long even though I do matence on it every two weeks or so. I was wondering if you would think I should get the horizon and find out what I am doing wrong for the matnece or get the DV888 pro pack. My only concern is I do not know how far the DV888 will take me. I am not a professional, but I do not want just a few tricks that I can do. Any help is appreciated :) Thanks

Hey, my horizon has been cutting the string extremely fast. There were some marks around the bearing seat, but I sanded those down as well as I could and it's really smooth. Though it still cuts the string within an hour of playing. I have a kitty string XL. Anything I could do to fix this?

Have you tried the MagicYoyo N12 Shark Honor? I've heard a lot about it, but am a bit shaky about buying it because it's mass manufactured and apparently have very "meh" bearings out of box. Nevertheless, they still look very solid.

hi there I'm thinking of getting a new yo-yo I've made the decision of choosing either the yo-yo factory boss or the yo-yo factory replay, a metal yo-yo doesn't bother me at this stage as I'm looking to build my skills up further, however i can bind and looking to improve my skills, i don't know if getting the replay will bottle neck me in the future and result in me spending more money, (if i am to get a metal yo-yo in the future after getting the replay, i will probably get a magic N12 yo-yo)

This may be unorthodox but around 10:00 where he's talking about changing it to be unresponsive, I just got an unresponsive one and when I wanted it to return without the bind I put a little orthodontic wax in between the outer and inner wheels. Opinions?

I'm leaning towards a canon but how is it with grinds??? I've been getting into grind tricks lately and though it does ok the Shutter isn't amazing at grinds, I have bigger hands so something like the werrd minute I'm afraid won't grind long on bigger fingers... Would it really make much of a difference if I skipped over the unresponsive plastics and went straight to budget medal or even high end metal? I think I'm ready for unresponsive and the thought just came into my head.

I've had my shutter for 3 days now and I have not put thin lube in it, and when I try spin the bearing it feels quit rough and bumpy and I don't know if I need to replace it or just lube it with thin lube and at one point it was even responsive

..I'm not into yoyoing but that Horizon yoyo looks nice. Totally diggin the two tone design...:D ...somebody shoud make bi- metal yoyo with exchangable inner cup so one can use some other design if desires. It only needs a thin sheet steel cup that will atach magnetically to the magnetized steel outher rim...^^ P.S. ...presenter does excellent job. Not boring jet his voice is soothing...*thumb up*
