Bionicle lore is super expansive and can be overwhelming i wish we had edgier movies

@@Luka1180 I don't know. Trying to follow it became too difficult back then. Didn't help there were five hundred Makutas alone to keep straight.

@@RobertStoll I never had a hard time. *shrug* However, I always had a problem with how one story media would suddenly have a chapter that would continue in some other piece of media. Or even jump back to the first. That way of telling the story, across so many places, *was* confusing to me. But this was an issue even from 2000/2001 and on. It's not the amount of media, but how it was laid out chronologically across it.

@@Luka1180 The books were a bit confusing, ya. I was young enough when G1 came out where the broader strokes blindsided me in general. I can appreciate it now but then it was like "WTF are they doing underwater? Wouldn't Tahu (incorrect name and everything) die?!" and that kind of thing. Like by the end they'd ended up with a chronology that was better fit for adult fans of DC comics rather than little kids lol.

@@RobertStollI was very young too, 5 years old. My first sets were Tahu and Gali. I just remember my dad coming home with the sets, me building them, thinking they looked mysterious and epic, and looking at the images on the canisters and on the instructions with awe and a sense of mystery and a lived, old land (or island). I quickly found the website, read comics, played MNOG, MNOG2... Anyway... I always thought the books were the least confusing. The comics, however. Very short, but just jumping from place to place like ko one's business. Btw, most story wasn't even available in my country, which is Denmark of all places! The land *OF* LEGO. That is why I am currently translating all media. I never had the problems you talk of however, cause I found BS01 and similar kinds of wikis, BZP and used bionicle.com.and BIONICLEstory.com very early on. Damn, was BIONICLE expensive though! I rarely could ever get a set. With the underwater thing my brain just went "They're in a submarine, and look they got tubing, so they can breathe." Soemtimes I didn't listen in school, but I think I was pretty quick with things that interested me :) Probably my ADHD? Or Asperger's. Btw, I always loved that the chronology was and lore was like stuff for adults. Otherwise I'd never have gotten into it. Go back to MNOG, look at the dialogue and the story of the game and more. It's not really for kids at all. Some kids wouldn't even understand the words, like "fluctuations"?? I also noticed many of my friends' older siblings loved BIONICLE and that made *them* love it. That was the strong point of the line. It was more how the chronology was split into different stories, jumping from media to media, that I had trouble with. Like, hey that's Toa Metru Vakama... oh, now he's already found the Great Disk... oh, in order to find out how he did it, I have to read this nobel, which doesn't continue in this comic but.in these other books, oh now it's back to the comic, back to the book etc.

There's no connection between the two. The Brotherhood killed Toa of Iron since they posed a threat to them. The Iron Tribe wasn't directly killed off by the other Agori and Glatorian as most of them died due to the Dreaming Plague.

@@betterlatethannever4529 the Makuta had a specific reason. As for the Iron Tribe, it was just the first tribe Annona came across to devour dreams.

From the brotherhood, only Miserix (the ancient leader of the brotherhood of makuta) has survived. However there are probably some more on the red star and also from alternative timelines.

Miserix is the last Makuta of the main universe. There are no Makuta on the Red Star since the Red Star cannot accommodate for beings of Antidermis.
