Fate drawn me here, because for the pass days I was doing research in the game pass. So its good to get a Xbox pov.

While I'd love to see a bunch of first party AA titles fill out GamePass, I wouldn't say the service is at all "pointless" without them. You are getting access to over 400 games for a crazy low price, with new titles added every 2 weeks. If you play just *one single game* per month from GamePass - you've gotten your money's worth at it's current price (or even if we imagine $20/month). The value it brings is absolutely unmatched in the industry, even if we assume Xbox Game Studios contributes zero titles. IMO it's worth it just for the indie games alone, because chances are I'll never hear about most of them otherwise, let alone have the confidence to drop even $5 on them. I'll be a GamePass subscriber as long as the service continues, even if it's ultimately just for PC games.

Same as before. Microsoft shuts down two studios that put out commercial flops and now everybody is talking about cancelling their subscription? It doesn’t make any sense to me.
