You forgot one zero i guess. It seems that the salary of the Collector Sahib is just ₹10,000 per month instead of ₹1,00,000 per month. Nothing bad, but it seems funny. Seems like staying in the post of Sub-Collector is better with govt bungalow and car instead of Collector who has only ₹10,000 as salary !! 😅🤣😂

No , not 10000k.. That is at the post before cabinet secretary which is received at the age of around 58-60yrs of age.. SDM has 56,100 and every year ot increases 3%.. If we r using govt. Bungalow, vehicles then we don't get get HRA , transport etc. Allowance

Nice to hear that. I don't mean to degrade any language. But not all south Indians have the same accent. Here, it is a tamilian speaking English with tamil accent. The fact is that, most of the original BENGALOORIAN's or for that matter even whole lot of KANNADIGA's have unique and the best English diction and accent. Though a persons' accent changes according to region and schooling, most people here speak English fluently and with right pronunciation.

If anyone wants to work as IAS,IPS, IRS, IFS, i think it should not be dependent on the structure of salary, it's a service to the nation. It should be from heart. You can never find a real CTC of an IAS officer. Can you even imagine the rent of a bungalow, cost of body guards, cars, the AURA of an IAS etc. which only IAS, IPS officer gets, you can help common people directly, your family in different ways. Just imagine the aura of the place, when an IAS/IPS officer arrives and the level of respect he/she gets, which NONE other officer gets. IAS is IAS, nothing can beat it.

@Abhijit Banerjee i would like to add one more thing, if you and your family ( so called cousin sister) are not happy with civil services, then why you're wasting your time on the platform of civil services. I think you're highly capable in other fields, that's why you're trying to under rate UPSC, but still stucked with it. It's better you take a call to leave preparation for civil services now, than deciding at a later stage.

An entry-level IAS officer will be in Level-10 of 7th CPC. His entry-level basic would be 56,100. Along with Basic, you will be provided with Dearness Allowance (DA)+House Rental Allowance (HRA)+Transport Allowance (TA). The Gross Salary would be: 87,525/- in Tier “A” City as on date.

Basic pay only 30000, their DEARNESS ALLWENCE is more than 200 % so they will get net payment more than 1 lakh

My cousin Working as Gvt Dr, starting first month salary 65k take home in hand after all deductions... Equal to subcollector pay.... IAS officers have more power in admimistration in district, whereas Dtrs have only power in their medical department only... But pay is almost same for a gvt dr&sub collector...

Excellent Video. True and straight forward IAS officers are boon to the country. If they decide all together, no politician can control. It's all in their hands for Great Country ahead. Some years back I met one police inspector, he said....if I don't oblige, they will transfer me...and new officer takes my place, if he doesn't oblige, they will again transfer, again new office takes his place, and even if he doesnt oblige ? So if all ias and ips and government officials are clear in their mind. I'm sure this country will be 10000 times better than all developed countries in world. Please I request the future ias officer to help poor people and elevate their life.

F or a real aspirant Salary doesn't matter (in terms of motivation)what matter most is whether an officer is capable of bringing change and dynamics during services. Also amaount of relaxatkion period given to an officer during his services so that he/she be capable of giving his time to family ,himself/herself,vacations..these things enhance productivity

It is not about salary it is actually about what we can do for our country. In my words nobody should get into it thinking about salary but thinking about our service and duty to sustain the unity intergrity soverginity.... etc of our country. Money is temperory it can fade at any times but our knowledge and work to the society always remains and people will remind us even after we fade away from this small world🌍 Money doesn't determine us our sincerity and love determines us ❤️.

Salary is not something one should be looking forward to. Civil service is something we do to give something back to the country by our service and not the other way around. Having said that the salary which the government gives is enough for a person living a middle class lifestyle.
