With the cassette tape, the fault for that is on the parents. Even if you don't count the fact they weren't watch their children closely enough, those shouldn't be in a place where a child can reach them. Hopefully they saved the remains of the tape. Even if it couldn't be saved at that time, the historical value of it might encourage someone to donate their time to recover the data.

I think the time we went out to eat, and I was talking about how horrible a college was and how it didn't teach, but you could be anything for the right price. It wasn't an online school. It had a campus, too, in my city. Half-way through talking about the school, I realized someone behind me was being interviewed for a job and had gone to this college. I had been there, too. I had taken advanced classes without lower level ones. I hadn't even had biology or chemistry, but I looked quite impressive. I can do anything! Stuff like that. It's about the student, right? I thought, this guy is going to kill me, but I kept going because why stop? I felt bad. I guess I also got an agent killed. It was interesting to see what they have in my city. That night, a rescue vehicle came with yellow lights flashing. I don't know why they were so obvious about what they were doing.

I accidentally broke a school thermometer once while in chemistry class. I wasn't paying attention to the solution in the beaker that was heating up. And then I heard a POP! Red liquid spewed everywhere and stained the wall behind the beaker. The stain didn't go away for at least a year or so. I'm still surprised that I didn't get detention for this!

It was midnight, Halloween, I rang the doorbell to ask for trick or treats. Person hang up on me so trick it is: I egged the eletronic doorbell and threw an egg up so it would arc and hit their car inside the garage. Fast forward a few years, I found out that the person I tricked woke up fr the noise, went downstairs and found the hood of the car with a huge dent, and the doorbell not working. Logical conclusion? Must've been the neighbor's children, which they've known well for many years!! Therefore they go to the neighbors and start fighting, punches and all. The police had to be called to intervene.

I pity the poor cleaners who had to clean up the aftermath of me breaking a bottle of fish sauce at Waterloo station. The main concourse was big enough for the smell to dissipate -- but the train carriage on the way home wasn't. For someone who was known in chemistry classes as 'Insurance Risk' the damage I've caused was very minimal in the grand scheme of things, but while flushing a building for legionella during the pandemic on a very hot day, I left a tap running full blast in a top floor kitchen while someone else had left the plug in. I was trying to get things done more 'efficiently' by doing two or three taps at once, but the force of the water overwhelmed the overflow outlet at the top of the sink, and the next thing I knew one of the maintenance guys working on the ground floor said he could hear someone showering in a locked storage room. We unlocked the store room and the water from the kitchen had spilled out, seeped down through two floors and was flooding the ground floor. I fessed up even if my colleague was ok with covering it up to save maintenance hours trying to find a burst pipe. My boss said -- and this is verbatim -- 'I'd rather have a flood than legionella' and nothing more was said about it. I learned not to cut corners and that trying to be efficient was not as good as doing a thorough job the way you've been trained to do it. Oh, and insurance is a wonderful thing. We had to replace a lot of cleaning equipment as well as vacuum cleaners, but it was pretty easy to ride it out simply by being honest.

11:30 reminds me of a Story at our house: I think my father broke something while watering plants in the office so my mother went to help clean it up or sth, leaving a pot on the stove. Me and my sister where in the living room and noticed that the pot caught fire so I went to tell our parents after I turned the cooker hood to get rid of the smoke which could've gone very wrong. Fortunately they could put the fire out before anything burned down.

I blinded my sister. Listen, I was 4/3 years old and until 11 years old, I was a very angry kid. I don’t really know why, apparently I had communication issues (because of a deformity) and because nobody was able to understand me, I would become impatient, angry and starts beating everyone because violence was my only way to be understood. So I was playing with my big sister (who was 7-8 years old at the time). She was a very nice and well educated and quite mature kid…the total opposite of me. Usually, I always preferred to play on my own because when I was playing with people, they were always changing my story and my way of playing and I hated it (I had a big imagination but I didn’t wanted anyone involved in it). I made an exception for my sister because, well, she is my sister. But there was a point where she started to change some rules I made. I don’t really remember what it was but it made me mad and I asked her to stop ruining my game/story. She refused, saying that I should accept some changes. But I hated new things (And I still have a fear for new things today). So, I got even more angry and since she refused to listen to me, I grabbed my figurine of a rhino (with a very pointy horn) and I violently and without warning put the horn of the rhino in the eye of my sister. She screamed and cried while keeping a hand on her eye. I was very punished by my parents and my sister stayed with a blindfold for some times (she is ok now). And I wasn’t even sorry, I was just like: She deserved it. I also once, in middle school (11 years old) tried to strangle one of my friend because he compared me to an old grumpy lady in a book and I asked him to stop and he refused, so I punched him and try to strangle him but I stopped mid way because I realized he was my friend and I didn’t wanted to hurt him. This was my last act of violence. After that, I tried my best to calm down, for the sake of my family and friends. I am doing better now but I still have some anger issues but usually, I take them out on games or sometimes in dancing because I don’t want to hurt anyone else.

When I was a teen some 33 years ago I hit-and-run a small kid with my bicycle. Kid just came from behind a parked car and I just couldn't see him. He was unconscious and I just left the scene scarred to hell away. Didn't ride a bike for the next year or so.

LDS girls camp. One of my tent mates kept putting her nasty shoes on top of my bag. She had 2 pairs for some reason. I got fed up and my passive aggressive butt threw them out of the tent. Cut to a couple hours later and we were playing some game and tent mate's sister loses and back up without looking. Rumor has it she tripped over that shoe and dislocated her kneecap. She went to the hospital. Now the ground at the site was uneven and it's possible that's what caused her to fall. But I feel horrible knowing that was probably my fault. Never told a soul about this until now. It's been like 15 years.
