I am not a member of this man's denominational organizational group or church but I admire his wisdom. I believe the gospel that saves is found in 1 Cor. 15: 3 - 4. Believe in the death burial and resurrection of Jesus.

Denominationalism is a devil inspired, mankind maintained schism. Unity is what God desires, as He is Triunely united to His glory. One of my favorite movie is “The Book of Eli” with Denzel Washington; I highly recommend it if you haven’t watched it. Only a few verses are mentioned in this movie. But you have to look past that and focus on what the subject of the movie is. As you watch it, keep in mind why it is humanity is at the stage it’s at this juncture in the movie. But even more importantly, keep in mind why it is the battle rages between the protagonists. I don’t want to spoil it for you.

Under the opinion that facts can, may, and do change, then beneath the reasoning of mathematics, 1 + 1 = 2 demonstrates the existence of absolute truth. So, under this premise, one can say facts change and truth is constant. God's word is truth because He invented mathematics.

Please excuse me if this comment gets long but I need to say this: It’s clear to see where man’s heart is; why do I say this? I’m very observant and I notice things on social media, especially on KZfaq. There are hundreds of thousands of channels and I notice one common theme: the channels representing the things of this world, the lust of the flesh, the depravity of man, seem to get hundreds of thousands if not millions of views and they have have hundreds of thousands, if not millions of subscribers. Yet the channels that teach on the Word of God, get one tenth of the subscribers or views as the worldly channels. Martyn is a great example; he’s a powerful teacher of the Word, and he has just a little less than 40K subscribers; that’s a mere drop in the proverbial bucket in regards to KZfaq. Again, that shows where man’s heart is. That’s why Jesus said “many (all) are called but few (those who turn to Him) will enter”

Thanks for this Truth from God the Father and His Son ,Jesus Christ, His Word. This is why there is so much superabounding grace and hope for all mankind,bar none.The Word of God declares this. "If I am lifted up, I will drag all mankind unto Myself"(John 12:32) and "for this reason we strive and labor,because we have this hope in the living God, who IS the Savior of all mankind" (1 Tim 4:10) and " God, who desires that all men be saved and come to a knowledge of the Truth" (1 Tim 2:4) and "I declare the end from the beginning,ancient times to what is to come, All My purposes will stand and I will accomplish all My desires" (Isa 46:10) That is the WORD of God, Jesus Christ, The Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world" (John 1:29) Does anyone think that is a gloriously beautiful outcome and a witness of Gods Love for us all? "Weeping may endure for the night, but JOY comes in the morning" (Psalm 30:5)

Well, when I read Our Lord's discourse on the Bread of Life in John 6, it blew my mind, because here is the Eucharist in the heart of the Gospels. Yet hordes of evangelical Protestant Christians don't believe in it as anything more than some pallid memorial to events that took place on another place and another time, and tell me (although many of them claim that Scripture is not open to interpretation) that this is not be taken literally.

When one examines Genesis for God's actual quotations it is amazing just how few there are. It becomes apparent that much of Genesis and the Old Testament is written in the third person by historians or other persons who lived on earth at the time of, or shortly after, the events described. In other words it is written according to the limitations of the human intellect of those times. On occasions when words or a statements are attributed to God this is clearly indicated by the author. It is a fallacy to say that the Bible in the form that has come down to us is the inspired word of God - without error.

so what junk do you have in your limited by human intellect bible? My God said '... my God saw '... and my God used scribes trained to exacting standards of efficacy that are astonishing by today's paltry efforts. There are over 25,000 OT & NT documents and discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls shows less than 1% copyist error (the human intellect of those times soars above anything we could think or imagine today, as the Fall precipitated our genetic, physical and intellectual decay) - and what errors there are, make no difference to the textual integrity. There are huge numbers of errors & missing text in many ancient documents that are taken as 'gospel' - why the hypocrisy? My Bible contains His Special Revelation: the intact, inerrant living WORD ie Jesus, the Incarnate, enfleshed God Man, Son of God, Second Person of the Trinity. No fallacy there, then - alleluia, sing to Jesus, His the sceptre, His the Crown. Tamper with that WORD at your spiritual peril.

Second, Jesus did not tell his disciples to be silent, he told them to go out into the world and preach the truth of the Bible and to tell the lost to repent. Third, there is no such thing as the devil/satan. Fourth, the actual meaning of the words devil/satan, is that these words only refer to Godless mankind. Fifth, it is mankind who accuse those who speak the truth of the Bible of all kinds of things because the last thing anyone wants to hear is actual Biblical truth. There are no people more opposed to the truth of the Bible that those who claim to be Christians.

B4 I get to that, no, there is no scriptural warranty for monks or nuns or elite classes consisting of Church priesthoods ( RC & C of E) etc, as those who are born again & saved in Jesus Christ are priests & we are as this is stated 2 - 3 times in the new testament. By confirmation of 2 -3 witnesses a matter is established. With all this "silence" & other ascetic nonsense we see in Christianity is nothing more than paganism descended from the Babylonian mystery religions. Satan does exist. Yes his name ( which isn't actually a name of sorts) is a describing word, which can be used for anyone & "Satanism" used for anything not just for Satanic worship. Whether you're aware of the downfall of Satan, but he was a Cherub, who Yahweh placed the describing word "Satan" to him, meaning that if God has done it, there is no way the 👿 can come out from under it. Literally, he's cursed forever!! Another thing that is terrifying, Jesus states on Judgment day he will say to those whose destiny is in the lake of fire " ye cursed!" & " I never knew you!" Sobering.

erm, it's a book, well a collection of books, an anthology you might say. Written over hundreds of years, by many authors unknown, variously edited at different times, interpreted and revised to suit the powers that be. It is largely fictional, inaccurate as a history and without merit as scientific text book. It is a religious text, use it as such, and it you want to learn something about history, geology, biology or any other ology, go find a book written by someone who knows something about that subject. You wouldn't ask a plumber to fix your teeth or have your accountant service your car, yet you insist that someone from the Middle East two thousand years ago is a reliable source of knowledge on astronomy, biology or geology???? Nuts!

@@forthosewithearstohear6219 Forthoseofuswithbrains, please advise where my analysis is inaccurate, I am confident in my historical accuracy and whilst my commentary is personal I believe it is backed up by the facts. "Repent" interesting, one would only repent if wanting forgiveness for wrongdoing. Thinking critically makes us human and is only "wrong" in the Orwellian worlds of North Korea, Iran and elsewhere. I fear you were born 500 years too late, Galileo did not repent, for he knew he was right, and so, the modern world was born.

@@roydodds3693 ,...It is not that you don't have brains, it is that God has blinded you and you do not have ears that hear, nor eyes that see. Your analysis is flawed from start to finish. The moment anyone looks outside of the Bible for truth or reality, they can and will only go astray. The Bible is the only truth there is. However, as I stated, the Bible is only understood by those few who have ears that hear and eyes that see. The rest of the world (roughly 99%) have all been blinded by God. Now the word repent is really just saying, stop, go back, you have it all wrong, you need to start over. it is usually used in a religious context as it applies to those that are speaking of religious or Biblical things. Galileo was not right, he was 100% wrong! The earth is not a spinning ball/globe/planet. The earth is a flat stationary plane just as the Bible has always told us it is. See, the moment you looked for truth outside of the Bible, you instantly went astray. Repent!
